Kaylee Goncalves was hoping to do so much in the future before Bryan Kohberger took all those dreams away…
Thursday marked the third anniversary of the horrific Idaho murders, and Alivea Goncalves took a moment to remember her younger sister. She posted a video on TikTok of Kaylee to let her “speak for herself” instead of penning a full tribute on the sad day:
“Humans are more than words, than pictures, than anything I could ever express or share. None of it feels right. I can never do her justice. So I won’t try. I’ll just let her speak for herself. Like they all should be able to do still. Three years babe, one year closer to you I guess. Meet a little part of Kaylee Jade Goncalves. You would have loved her. Everyone did.”

In the clip, it appears Kaylee is interviewing for a course. She revealed she is a “general studies major” after switching from elementary education because she couldn’t student teach. Wow. Kaylee goes on to explain that she doesn’t have “a dream job in mind,” but she knows she would find a job she would enjoy because of her excellent “people and collaboration skills.” According to Kaylee, she worked “really well with people” and was a “good communicator” — but also could work independently. All great skills!
Although Kaylee didn’t know what she wanted to do post-grad, she had high goals for herself! She wanted to stay at a job long enough to get into a management or leadership position, and she hoped the course would help her get there.
Concluding her video, Kaylee mentioned she would’ve loved to have dinner with Helen Keller and Taylor Swift. She was apparently a “huge” fan of the pop star’s music since she was little. Aww. Watch the clip (below):
