Janelle Brown admits that you may not know it by looking at her.
But she also admits the following:
This Sister Wives star never felt better about her body, her strength and her weight loss journey overall.
Earlier this month, Brown celebrated July 4 by rocking the same red, white and blue outfit that she wore the holiday prior.
“Everyone’s weight loss journey looks different,” Janelle captioned these side-by-side photos of her from the 4th of July 2021 and 2022.
She posted them to Instagram last Friday and added:
“I am always hesitant to share publicly any progress I make because, let’s be real, anything I share there are always 10,000 people who want to judge me.”
It’s also worth noting that Janelle celebrated America’s birthday without Kody Brown by her side, lending fuel to the rumor that the two are barely in a relationship at this point.
But that isn’t the focus of this article.
“I suspect you have people in your world who are like that too,” the mother of six wrote of her critics.
“But in the past year, not only have I increased my strength (almost have a 200 lb barbell squat accomplished you guys!) but in my own unique way I have lost pounds and inches.”
Continued the 53-year old:
“I never thought I could feel as good as I did at 18 and finally feel like I’m on my way to my ultimate health goals.
“This is not an overnight fix. Nothing truly worth it is.
“These shorts I have worn for 2 years are almost too big to even keep on! I couldn’t be more excited about my progress.”
It’s great if Janelle feels this way, of course.
But she concluded her message as follows:
Love to chat if you’re looking for progress over perfection! More also on @life_with_health_and_happiness.
That tag takes one to the Instagram account of the questionable weight loss company for which Janelle and Christine Brown work as salespeople.
Janelle has always tied it into any comments she makes about her own figure, prompting us to often wonder whether she’s just caught up in a pyramid scheme here.
On New Year’s Eve 2022, Janelle shared a photo with former sister wife Christine, writing back then:
“Health isn’t a one size fits all thing, and it may not look the same for everyone, but it is something worth fighting for.
“Change comes first with the decision to try. Trying comes with the decision to continue.
“Continuing comes with the decision to be committed. I wanted and needed something but I didn’t know what.”
