Johnny Depp Claims Amber Heard Called James Franco ‘Rapey’ — Then Cheated With Him!

As his libel trial against The Sun entered its second day of testimony, Johnny Depp continued to deny Amber Heard‘s abuse allegations on Wednesday.

In previous testimony the Pirates of the Caribbean actor claimed he was actually the victim of abuse from a “diagnosed borderline personality” and that he had never struck her as he wouldn’t hit a woman. But that was his prepared statement — this time he had to answer some difficult questions.

The tabloid’s lawyer grilled Johnny about “the Boston plane incident” — a flight in May 2014 described last year by Amber in a legal filing as a memorable example of domestic abuse. The Aquaman star wrote that her then-husband had flown into a jealous rage over her Adderall Diaries co-star James Franco.

Attorney Sasha Wass went into even more graphic detail than we’ve heard before, however, asking Johnny about screaming at Amber if she “liked getting f**ked on set,” making “vulgar references to [Ms Heard’s] genitalia,” and calling her a “go-getter slut and a whore.” Oof.

Johnny denied all of those awful remarks, saying unequivocally:

“That’s quite a stretch of her imagination.”

He said he wouldn’t say any of those awful things — at least not “with my security, two pilots… a stewardess…”

“No ma’am I wouldn’t. Not under those circumstances I would not. There are possibilities where that kind of thing might come out of my mouth depending on what came out of her mouth prior, but I did not go into a rage on the flight in front of all these people.”

Johnny also answered the allegations of drug use on the flight, claiming he only ordered a tank of pure oxygen “for a lark”:

“When you put the oxygen tank on and you turn the nozzle you are hit with pure oxygen. I wasn’t abusing a drug, I was breathing in oxygen and I was showing them, I flew with the crew before and the pilot and I had done that before.”

Ms. Wass then asked about him passing out “on the toilet,” to which he quibbled:

“I’ve never passed out on the toilet, not in the act of let’s say relieving oneself, but yes leaning on the toilet or sleeping on the floor.”

The defendants showed the court photos provided by Amber of a passed out Johnny and of a table full of liquor and cocaine lines, purportedly belonging to him.

At one point in the questioning, Johnny responds to the evidence by again calling all of Amber’s allegations a “hoax” and saying:

“…from some of the information I have garnered from my experience yesterday and having studied the case, I will suggest, ma’am, that it appears to me that Ms. Heard was building a dossier very early on that appears to be an insurance policy for later.”

Hmm. The Oscar nominee has a whole other version of events when it comes to James Franco.

First off, he says it was Amber who first voiced concerns to him about her co-star’s behavior, saying Franco was “creepy and rapey” on the set of Pineapple Express and that she had to “run from Franco’s advances.”

“She told me many things that were very negative about Mr Franco that he had tried to kiss her (after the filming of Pineapple Express) and made sexual advances on her in that film she said he was a creep and a rapist or whatever.”

When Wass pressed him on the word “rapist” Johnny clarified he had not meant to attribute that as a direct quote, saying it was actually the word “rapey” that she used:

“No it’s just a word that came out to describe what she said to me, him leaning in saying I’m going to kiss you now and she had to run from his advances at one point and he was kind of non-stop and she felt he was creepy and rapey was the word. If I said the word rapist then it’s because rapey was the word she used.”

We should note, there have been accusations of sexual misconduct against Franco in the past, namely preying on acting students.

Johnny did admit his jealousy of Franco. Wass asked him about Amber’s assertion he couldn’t watch the love scenes in her movies else he would “lose it”:

“Your concerns about romantic scenes were quite considerable weren’t they?”

Johnny conceded:

“Yes I do have concerns.”

However he drew the line at the implication “losing it” meant getting violent:

“She doesn’t want me to lose it meaning doesn’t want me to get jealous.”

Hmm. Losing it isn’t getting jealous though, it’s acting on that jealousy, right?

But Johnny also added these concerns were anything but baseless:

“I suspected Ms Heard was having an affair with Mr Franco and it’s since been confirmed that she was.”

Has it been? What has he seen that we haven’t? Hmm…

Once again on Wednesday, Johnny was adamant he never struck Amber throughout their marriage, stating plainly as ever:

“I did not hit Ms. Heard and furthermore I have never hit Ms. Heard.”

Do YOU believe him? Do you still need to hear more testimony?? We’ll let you know as soon as we hear any more…
