Josh Duggar Prison Release Date: REVEALED!

Josh Duggar will not be a free man for a very long time.

Let’s go ahead and stipulate that right up front.

The disgraceful former reality star was sentenced to 151 months behind federal prison bars on May 25 after being found guilty of child sex crimes the previous December.

Then, on June 24, Duggar transferred to FCI Seagoville near Dallas on to begin serving his sentence for one count of receiving child pornography.

According to the Bureau of Prison, meanwhile, in a scoop just broken by In Touch Weekly, we’ve now learned Josh’s scheduled release date.

If all goes well… if there are no transgressions at this facility and if Josh therefore sees his sentenced reduced a bit for what is known as “good behavior,” he will be a released on August 12, 2032.

By various accounts, Duggar’s prison stint is off to a rough start.

His fame (or his infamy, really) has already made Duggar a hated man by his fellow inmates.

In general, sex offenders are frowned up in jail, although approximately 40% of inmates at the facility that now houses Duggar is comprised of these types of criminals.

The father of seven had been facing up to 20 years in prison, which is what prosecutors asked for this spring due to his “prior sexual exploitation of multiple minors,” which is a reference to Duggar having admittedly molested his own sisters as a teenager.

These prosecutors also cited “the extraordinary efforts Duggar took to obtain and view child sexual abuse materials (CSAM), the nature of the CSAM he obtained and viewed, his efforts to conceal his criminal conduct and his refusal to take accountability for or acknowledge any of his criminal conduct.”

Josh Duggar is the Worst

In the end, a judge handed down a slightly more lenient sentence than the one the government lawyers argued for.

But a far harsher sentence than the five years Duggar’s defense team pushed for in court.

All this said, it will be a long 10-plus years in prison for Josh Duggar.

He’s not allowed conjugal visits with his wife, Anna Duggar, as the only physical contact permitted will be “handshakes, hugs, and kisses (in good taste)” at the start and end of any visit.

Moreover, Josh will only be allowed four hours worth of visits per month.

The former 19 Kids and Counting star “is terrified of prison,” an insider told In Touch this summer, back when Josh began his sentence.

“Even though Seagoville is low security and not known for violence against inmates, it does happen,” the source said of the facility, which currently houses more than 1,700 inmates.

“And he’s going in for what fellow criminals and inmates despise: a child sex offender..

“No one here feels sorry for him.”
