The news was first reported by Puck and was picked up by the likes of Vulture and NME.

It has been reported that Justin and Scooter haven’t been in touch in months and that “lawyers are involved.” The singer is said to be “poking around for a new agency or manager.” However, he allegedly has an unspecified amount of “time left” on the contract he is currently under.

Justin has been making some structural changes to his team in recent months. Earlier this year, a report suggested that he also netted a cool $200 million by selling his catalog of hits.

Scooter has worked with other artists over the years. His website references stars such as Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Carly Rae Jepsen, David Guetta and the Black Eyed Peas.

However, the manager has been involved in some drama over the years, most notably with Taylor Swift. A former client also referred to him as a “mistake,” promoting a response from Scooter.

Another artist recently revealed something they did that Scooter “took offense to.”
