If Kim Kardashian could change one thing about her Met Gala look in 2022, what would it be? Her answer may surprise you!
Three years ago, the reality star stepped out on fashion’s biggest night in an iconic dress worn by Marilyn Monroe. You likely remember which one we’re talking about. It was the late actress’s beaded tank gown that she wore to sing “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” to President John F. Kennedy in 1962. Ch-ch-check it out (below):

Kim sparked a lot of controversy with the look, especially after reports claimed that she damaged the dress. And to this day, people are still not happy with the SKIMS creator over it. However, despite all that, she still does not regret wearing the gown! She has another issue with the look instead!
During a post-credits confessional scene from the latest episode of The Kardashians on Thursday, Kim addressed one thing she would have done differently for the 2022 Met Gala – her hair. She explained she should have kept her natural brunette shade instead of bleaching her hair blonde:
“I don’t know why, but everyone told me, ‘Don’t do Marilyn hair, you’re going to look like a wax figure of Marilyn.’ We just thought we wanted to be blond. I should have been like dark, Jackie O vibes hair.”
However, Kim and her hairstylist Chris Appleton opted for “Marilyn blonde” in the end. And she regrets it now. She apparently agonizes over the decision to this day, even going as far as to photoshop her hair to see what could’ve been:
“I’ve actually photoshopped it 500 different ways after the fact — like, last year — to see. Do you want to see? Because I have tortured Chris Appleton on this decision.”
Oh, Kim! Move on! LOLz! But while pulling up the pictures on her phone to show the crew, she asks:
“Should it have been a Marilyn vibe hair in blond … should it have been more of a Jackie O dark? Either one of these would have worked.”
We mean, how her hair looked that day probably should be the least of her concerns. Folks are more worried about her ruining a priceless antique for a photo opp than anything else. Just saying. You can take a look at Kim’s photoshop pics of the Marilyn ensemble (below):
