If you thought watching self-proclaimed scaredy-cat Sarah Paulson making her way through a haunted house was entertaining, does Ellen DeGeneres have the post-Halloween treat for you.
The daytime queen kept her tradition alive on Friday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show by having her producer Andy Lassner escort a new famous companion through a maze of ghastly creatures at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights: Lizzo!
The 31-year-old singer was pretty confident before entering the “Pandora’s Cabinet of Curiosity” maze, telling cameras:
“I’m 100% that scary ass bitch.”
But that didn’t last too long when a creature quickly jumped out and scared the juice out of the pair before they even entered the maze.
From there, Lizzo was 100% that scared ass bitch.

After trying to pray her way through the maze of terrors, Lizzo’s fight or twerk response kicked in as the duo encountered a scary werewolf. Andy was paralyzed with fear, but the artist literally twerked her way past Ellen’s producer and yelled:
“Get yo ass out the way!”
Ha!
The 31-year-old proved to be a less-than-ideal haunted house companion in the thick of the maze when Andy tripped in a room full of demons. The terrified performer left him behind, calling out:
“F**k you, I’m out!”
Gurl knows the rules of survival!
Andy eventually caught up to her again and, after a series of intense jump scares, Lizzo decided to use the terrified producer’s body as protection. She joked at one point:
“I’m sorry I used you as a shield.”
Overall, it was a rough experience for the duo — especially the producer, who at one point seemingly coughed something up and declared:
“I think I just lost a tooth.”
These mazes get more extreme every year!
Thankfully, the duo made it out before Andy lost any more teeth — but not before one last creature popped up to scare them, causing the Truth Hurts singer to drop to the floor in terror.

Before her rise to fame, Lizzo had to deal with some very debilitating horrors of her own. As we reported, the star opened up in an Instagram post about suffering from occasional depression, telling her followers that sharing one’s emotions with others can be life-saving.
After her introspective post was met with an outpouring of love and support from fans, the star shared an update on social media explaining how the experience changed her perspective on the relationship between joy and sadness.
She said in the post:
“I used to think of sadness as a constant with fleeting moments of joy in between… but it’s a wave joy sadness joy sadness and my sadness can be as temporary as my joy. I went on live to have a discussion about triggers. My triggers are: rejection and inadequacy. But I love that I’m more emotionally honest lately. I love that I can use my sadness constructively in real time for gratitude.”
Fear doesn’t seem to be as useful to her, based on that haunted house vid!
