On Tuesday (September 26), the singer said during their Golden 1 Center show in Sacramento, California, “After this tour, we will be going on an indefinite hiatus of shows, so it’s wonderful to have you guys with us tonight. Thank you so much.”

After fans expressed concern, he confirmed that the band won’t be breaking up during their concert at San Jose’s SAP Arena on Thursday (September 28).

“I didn’t mean to scare any hardcore fans by insinuating that we were splitting up or anything like that,” he said. “That’s not happening. Don’t worry about that.”

Matty added jokingly, “It just needs to be a very firm, full stop at the end of Still … At Their Very Best because I kind of still know what I’m doing, but a part of me doesn’t.”

Ice Spice recently revealed what Matty said to her after cracking jokes about her on a podcast.
