Megan Mullally MISSING Final ‘Will & Grace’ Episodes Amid Debra Messing Feud Rumors!

Will & Grace with no Karen?? What would that even be called?!? Oh, right…

The NBC hit is saying goodbye for a second time after its surprising revival in 2017, with a final 18-episode eleventh season. But don’t expect every ep to contain that perfect concoction of comic characters.

According to a bombshell new report, a couple of those half hours will not include any Karen Walker at all — and it may all be due to the rumored feud between costars Debra Messing and Megan Mullally.

For those who didn’t see the upsetting story back in August, there was quite a bit of evidence on social media of a rift between the former friends. Moreover, that reveal came just a couple weeks after the announcement the show was ending again, leading many to speculate whether the costars’ reluctance to work together led everyone to call it quits.

The ratings were good — the show was the second most watched sitcom on the network during its previous season — and yet it was inexplicably getting self-canceled? Hmm.

Producers released this statement in explanation:

“We think of the Will & Grace episodes the way Karen Walker thinks of martinis — 51 is not enough, 53 is too many. That is why, after consulting with the cast, we all have decided this will be the final season of Will & Grace.”

Was that “consulting with the cast” line a dead giveaway the show was ending because Debra and Megan couldn’t stand one another??

Well, now we have another piece of the puzzle in the form of some very bad news for fans: according to reporting fromTV Line, Megan Mullally took a temporary leave of absence during the season.

What that means for viewers is TWO EPISODES with no hysterical Karen. In other words, yes, the b-plot for those will be just Jack.

No reason was given for Mullally’s absence — heck, the network hasn’t even confirmed the story — leading many to wonder if this is also a result of the feud.

We mean, is it really possible Megan is so pissed at Debra she couldn’t even make it the whole 18 episodes??

For what it’s worth, Will himself, Eric McCormack, called the speculation of a feud between the two actors “crazy,” telling Us Weekly at a charity event:

“It seems crazy. It is crazy! I think people worried about that entirely too much.”

As denials go, that is less than convincing. He didn’t exactly state definitively they weren’t feuding, just that people were “worried” about it too much. Hmm.

If it’s costing us some quality martini time with Karen, it seems the hysteria is justified.
