It looks like Prince Archie might have had a different name, according to someone with knowledge of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s decision making!

Sherry McBain, an officer who competed in the Invictus Games, revealed the story about Archie in an interview.

Sherry recalled that her wife Mandy was speaking with the Duchess about Archie and her son, Harrison.

“[Meghan] was like ‘Harrison, that’s Archie‘s middle name’, and Mandy was like ‘Yeah, I know,’” Sherry said. “They were just having a chat because Harry and Meghan couldn’t decide between Archie and Harrison for the first name.”

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry revealed Archie‘s full name, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, just a few days after his birth in 2019.
