This is definitely not how Miley Cyrus wanted to spend her week!
The Wrecking Ball singer first revealed to fans Tuesday afternoon she was in the hospital!
The pop star snapped a pic of herself in her hospital gown (above), writing:
“Trying to heal as quick as I can to make it to Gorillapalooza w @TheEllenShow @PortiaDeRossi @BrunoMars this weekend,” the pop star posted from her hospital bed, with an IV in her arm. “Send goooooood vibes my way! Hoping the Rock star G*DS send me a boost of bad ass and help me kick this s**t to the curb where it belongs. We got gorillas to save!”
Miley is referencing Ellen DeGeneres‘ endangered species charity event set to go down this weekend in Hollywood, though it’s unclear if Miley will be able to perform at all.
Well, without that “boost of bad ass” anyway. Quick, get her 10 ccs of that stuff, stat!

At least she’s keeping her spirits up, thanks especially to a visit from mom Tish Cyrus! And little hospital gown glow up… She posted:

We don’t know the specific malady Miley is suffering from, but she did complain about pain from tonsillitis on Monday, called the sickness “a f**king f**k” in an IG post. She also referred to new luvvah Cody Simpson as her “Dr” — we assume PhD though and not MD. LOLz!
And they say laughter is the best medicine.
Anyways, it’s been quite the roller coaster ride for the former Disney Channel star over these last couple weeks, and the hospitalization here is just the (not-so-cool) cherry on top of it all.
The Slide Away songstress has been making non-stop headlines after her breakup from Kaitlynn Carter and then her apparent budding romance with fellow pop star Cody. All that has drawn the attention of Miley’s longtime ex, Liam Hemsworth, too, so there’s no doubt there must be some breakup stress still there for all involved. It’s been a hell of a summer… Unfortunately now a #SickGirlFall…
For now, we just hope she takes this time to rest up and get right in the hospital. Get past the tonsillitis first — or whatever is going on — and there’ll be plenty of time to save gorillas later!
