
Mitch McConnell has been given the all clear to return to work.
If you missed it, earlier this week the 81-year-old U.S. Senate Republican Leader froze in front of reporters at a news conference.
During the Kentucky stop, Mitch had spoken to press before appearing to have a hard time hearing reporters. It was then that aides stepped in to help him.

In a new report, Mitch has been deemed “medically clear” to return to work at Capitol Hill and the moment was a result of a concussion.
Dr. Brian Monahan, the politician’s attending physician released a statement on the situation, and stated that he had “conferred” with his neurology team, determining that he is “medically cleared to continue with his schedule as planned.”
“Occasional lightheadedness is not uncommon in concussion recovery and can also be expected as a result of dehydration,” he added.
This isn’t the first time Mitch has experienced loss of words in a public forum.
