Oh. My. God. The never-ending saga of that infamous Kim Kardashian sex tape just got messier than ever, and this time Ray J is coming in hot with some explosive accusations that are raising a lot of eyebrows!
The singer and reality TV star is firing back after Kim and momager Kris Jenner recently filed legal declarations insisting they had absolutely nothing to do with the release of the tape that famously helped launch Kim into superstardom. But according to Ray J, that claim is a complete fabrication. And in speaking to TMZ on Thursday, Ray J claims the famed mother-daughter duo “completely lied about everything” when it came time to go under oath and discuss the drama! Uh oh!!
Speaking out about the situation, Ray J alleged that both Kim and Kris were actually involved in conversations about distributing the tape back in the day. In fact, he claims they were all in the same room with executives from Vivid Entertainment — the company that ultimately released the video — discussing the deal.
For years, Vivid has maintained they obtained the tape through a third party. But Ray J claims the truth is much more direct. Oh, and according to him, there wasn’t just one tape floating around, either. He claims there were three different tapes featuring him and Kim — two filmed in Cabo and another shot in Santa Barbara — and he also alleges they were each paid a hefty $400,000 for the footage.
And here’s where things get even wilder: Ray J alleges Kris herself encouraged them to film the Santa Barbara tape and even suggested they make it more explicit. Yes, really. The claim contradicts the long-standing narrative that the tape’s release was something that happened to Kim rather than something that was orchestrated behind the scenes.
Naturally, Ray J is furious about what he sees as a false story continuing to circulate. And he’s even more upset that in their recent declarations about the tape, Kim and Kris supposedly LIED! So he claims, at least…
Ray J told TMZ on Thursday:
“Are [Kim & Kris] out of their f**king minds? The fact of the matter is, if you lie like that under oath, don’t you go to jail? Don’t you get fined?”
Yikes.
And for Ray J, this isn’t just about old celebrity drama resurfacing. He says it’s personal now that he’s a father, too. See, the star says he refuses to let the idea that he maliciously released the tape become part of the story his kids grow up hearing:
“They don’t deserve to grow up thinking their dad did something like revenge porn or hurt someone on purpose. That’s not the truth, and I’m not going to let that narrative follow them through their lives.”
As Perezcious readers may remember, this latest war of words stems from a lawsuit Kim and Kris filed last October accusing Ray J of defamation. Ray J responded with a countersuit of his own, claiming the Kardashians violated a prior settlement agreement that supposedly barred everyone involved from publicly discussing the tape at all.

And the family drama doesn’t stop there. Ray J’s mom, Sonja Norwood, has also jumped into the fray in recent weeks, publicly defending her son on social media.
