Rihanna may not be kick-starting her music career after all.

Over the weekend, reports from the Daily Mirror surfaced that the 35-year-old “Disturbia” singer signed a multi-year contract with Live Nation for a massive tour and multiple albums. ET also reported that she was plotting a world tour.

However, a new report is rejecting those claims.

A high-level source who would be involved in such the talks said the 32 million pounds deal sounds made up and noted that “no tour has been confirmed for Rihanna,” via Billboard.

The source says the Anti singer hasn’t yet committed to any touring projects for 2024. Live Nation also has not placed any holds on venues for a potential tour, which is typical for beginning to book a tour for a major artist.
