This Rihanna shooting incident keeps getting worse!

As you likely know, 35-year-old suspect Ivanna Lisette Ortiz allegedly fired multiple rounds into the pop star’s home on Sunday afternoon. Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, their three kids, her mother, and two other staff members were all on the property at the time of the incident. Thankfully, no one was injured. Ortiz was arrested and charged with attempted murder, 10 felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm (with special allegations), and three felony counts of shooting into an inhabited dwelling/vehicle. If convicted, Ortiz faces up to life in prison.

Following her arrest, the suspect’s terrifying online posts and videos about the singer surfaced. Now, another creepy message about RiRi is coming to light — this time one she allegedly wrote to her estranged husband weeks before the shooting!

In new court documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, Jed Valdez Sangalang attached an email he claimed Ortiz sent to him on January 26, demanding that he “renounce” Rihanna! It reads:

“I need you to renounce Rihanna and confess that I’m better than her. Let it be done. You gotta let me know so that door can be closed.”

WTF??!

Sangalang claimed in the docs that he found out about the shooting on Monday after receiving calls and emails about Ortiz, including some from news outlets asking for more information. Her ex explained he attempted to hide what happened from their minor child, but another student at school ended up telling the kid. Oof. That’s rough. Sangalang said he ultimately had to share what went down.  The dad wants the court to grant him full custody and sole decision-making over their child in light of the situation.
