Will MomTok survive the reunion photo drama???
On Monday, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Instagram account dropped pictures of the entire cast’s looks ahead of the upcoming reunion episode on December 4. They’re all decked out in different floor-length gowns — except for host Stassi Schroeder. She opted for a red midi dress. Swipe (below) to ch-ch-check it all out:

The entire cast looks great, as usual! However, most fans have a bone to pick with Hulu over these photos! Why? They took to the comments to say that whoever snapped the pics did the group so dirty with “bad” lighting, angles, camera quality, and more! See the reactions (below):
“Whose taking these photos you have a group of gorgeous women and you did them all dirty with the lighting and angles”
“Hire a new photographer cause WHAT”
“I love my girls but this is so bad”
“Yall. These ladies deserve the best lighting, the best camera, and for someone to choose their best look out of all the shots. Who threw this together in 3 minutes? Fired!”
“Hulu this is so bad!! We know they look great, but why are you taking them at the end of a long day?! In bad lighting?!”
“Why was the photographer mad at them all this is the worst”
“What did the girls do to deserve horrible lighting for these pics”
“This show is literally making yall millions and you cannot give them a decent reunion photoshoot??? Were these taken with a phone? I’m so confused.”
“You know how many approvals these probably had to go through and they STILL got posted

Yeesh! And fans aren’t the only ones upset about the images! A few cast members are too! Mikayla Matthews wrote in the comments:
“Not too late to delete”
Miranda McWhorter added:
“you’ll hearing from my lawyer after these”
Jessi Ngatikaura then complained:
“I will never understand why you guys have us take these photos after a 12 hour day of screaming and crying
we look horrible and disassociated every single time”
Yeah, you really would think they’d take it at the beginning! At least before the waterworks begin! Jessi had more to say about the whole reunion look debacle, however, including that she did NOT get to even pick out her dress! She took to social media on Monday to first address the terrible pics:
“They released our reunion looks and obviously I was horrified by the photos like we are every year. First of all, I commented this, but they make us take the photos at the end of the day when we’re all so done. And when you watch the reunion, specifically this one, you’re gonna know why I feel the way I do. But I’m like that was so explosive and then you make us take these photos where we’re all like ‘Get us out of here.’”
Jessi hopes to convince Hulu to take the pics at the start of the day next year, so they can avoid all the drama. It sounds like a plan. Whether the production goes for it, we’ll see. As for her look? The hairstylist revealed she wasn’t thrilled with it. In fact, she had planned to wear a completely different dress but had to change it “12 hours” before filming began! Uh oh!
Jessi explained she put together a mood board a month before the reunion for the entire cast, so they would look cohesive this time around:
“I was texting the girls … being like, ‘Okay, we need to have a color scheme,’ because last reunion some of us were in jewel tones and some were in pastel, the styles were all over the place. Not to diss on anyone’s look because we all looked great, but together our dresses did not flow and that really bugged me.”
She’s all about the aesthetics! We get it! Jessi shared a color palette, which consisted of holiday tones like dark red, gold, and olive green. For herself, she chose a red strapless gown. The JZ Styles owner said she “had my dress planned the very minute we knew we had a reunion.” She was even the “first one to have my look sent in and approved by the production team and was super excited” about it. However, her plans got ruined. She continued:
“Twelve hours before the reunion, I get a call from production and they were like, ‘You need to change your dress.'”
Damn! According to Jessi, production explained that Stassi planned to wear the same neckline and color, so the social media personality needed to switch her look at the last minute. The TikToker made it clear that “this is no shade to Stassi,” and that “she’s the queen and she deserves it.” Ultimately, Jessi sent the producers more options and they selected the white sparkling dress, which she wasn’t happy about:
“They ended up choosing the white and glitter dress, which I wouldn’t have chose. I was really sad about it but the show must go on and I’m a team player, so that’s what I ended up wearing. It ended up being OK, my hair and makeup were great and I loved my jewelry, it worked.”
Jessi looked fantastic in the end! Just don’t talk to her about the photos! She knows those don’t show off the dress well! Watch the video (below):

For what it’s worth, Jessi doesn’t seem to have bad blood with Stassi over this issue! The rest of her castmates is a different story! LOLz! The Vanderpump Rules alum commented on the video and praised Jessi, saying:
“No I’m so haunted by this situation. I flew from London and had two days and was told ‘make it Christmas’. You’re a goddamn queen and I love you so much!!!!!! Break that dress out for the next reunion!!!”
