She slyly said during the livestream “as far as new music, I don’t know,” before silently mouthing “yes” and nodding her head.
Exciting!!
As you may be aware, the Rare songstress announced the launch of her upcoming cosmetics brand Rare Beauty just a few months ago, but the launch has been placed on hold due to the coronavirus. However, a delay doesn’t mean she’s not still hard at work:
“I’m still doing tons of Zoom calls, they send me the things and color palette and all kinds of stuff. So we are getting it ready, but I just don’t know when Rare Beauty’s coming out.”
In addition to those professional updates, Gomez also offered up some movie recommendations:
“Scary Movies is what we’re onto. Day of the Dead; Frozen randomly, 2010, that scared me a lot; Hereditary, Haunt; The Hunt; Hounds of Love, Australian, love you Australia. I have a lot. Wow. Ready or Not: so good, that was amazing. Sweetheart, I’m not saying like half of these things I don’t know the threshold of some of my viewers at the moment. But as far as thriller, American Animals, Alice Creed, I like Hot Summer Nights, Knives Out, did everybody see that? It’s good.”
Showing her Apple TV, she continued:
“I have seen Insidious by the way. Revenge, guys, this is like next level. This one I’m sure some of you guys have seen it, but this is a great movie, okay? Matilda Lutz and a woman Coralie Fargeat, this other girl. She’s the best, this one right here. I’ve seen The Orphan, yes.”
Thanks for the recc’s, Selly!!
On a more serious note, the former Disney star recently opened up about her bipolar diagnosis during a live chat with Miley Cyrus:
“I went to one of the best mental hospitals… McLean Hospital and I discussed that after years of going through a lot of different things, I realized that I was bipolar and so, when I go to know more information, it actually helps me. It doesn’t scare me once I know it and I think people get scared of that.”
Gomez explained at the time:
“I’ve seen it and I’ve seen some of it even in my own family where I’m like what’s going on? It’s not known to talk about your mental health. When I finally said what I was gonna say, I wanted to know everything about it and it took the fear away.”
Thank you for always being so open with us, Selena!
