The NFL has plenty to be happy about this week.
The network’s Sunday Night Football telecast on Sunday night (October 1) scored the biggest audience of the season, bringing in 27 million viewers across all platforms, via THR.
Notably, there was a spike in women viewers, which may be due to Taylor Swift‘s presence at the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets amid the Travis Kelce romance rumors.

Viewing among girls 12-17 grew 53% Sunday over the first three SNF broadcasts this season, and women 18-24 (up 24%) and women over 35 (up 34%) also tuned in at higher levels than earlier in the season, via NBC.
The NBC telecast averaged 25.15 million viewers, a 21% improvement compared with the same week last year.
