David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan have been chosen as Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane in James Gunn‘s Superman: Legacy.
Casting rumors have been heating up for weeks with 3 frontrunners rumored for Superman and 3 for Lois Lane. It appears as if Rachel and David beat out all the other competition to nab the first roles in the new DC Universe, THR reports.

Superman: Legacy will be one of the first releases in the new DC Universe era. It’s slated for release on July 11, 2025.
David, who you may recognize from Netflix’s Hollywood, is taking over the previous iteration of the role from Henry Cavill. Rachel, who, of course, starred in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, will take over the role from Amy Adams.
