
A suspect has been arrested in connection to the death of Robert De Niro‘s grandson, Leandro De Niro-Rodriguez.
Earlier this month, the 79-year-old actor’s daughter Drena De Niro – his oldest daughter with ex Diahanne Abbott – revealed that her son had died at the age of 19.
On Friday (July 14), law enforcement sources revealed that a woman was arrested in the drug dealing investigation linked to Leandro‘s death.

Sofia Haley Marks – allegedly known on the streets as the “Percocet Princess” – was arrested on Thursday night (July 13) on federal drug distribution charges and is expected to appear in a Manhattan federal court on Friday, ABC News reports.
Marks, 20, is believed to have sold drugs to Leandro.
The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation by the New York City Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
While Leandro‘s cause of death has not be officially revealed, Drena said that her son had died after taking pills laced with fentanyl.
Leandro was found unconscious and unresponsive inside a New York City residence on Sunday, July 2. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Robert recently released a statement mourning his grandson’s death.
