The rockstar discussed his marriage on “The School of Greatness” podcast following controversial remarks he made about his relationship.
“She’s certainly not afraid to call me out on something,” the rock star said of his high school sweetheart. “But she’s also there when I fall.”
Prior to the red carpet event, the rocker told press that he hadn’t “been a saint” in his relationship and that “every day is a challenge.”
The singer’s wife, Dorothea Hurley, was notably absent for the photo op following his recent admission that he hasn’t “been a saint” throughout their marriage.
The rocker told “Good Morning America” viewers Thursday morning that “growing together” with his high school sweetheart feels like “magic.”
“It’s about never lying about having been a saint, but not being a fool enough to f–k up the home life, either,” the rockstar said in a new interview.
