The 47-year-old revealed on Friday that Ojeh was diagnosed with brain cancer “a few weeks before” she ran the New York City Marathon in November 2023.
Jones had remained absent from the popular NBC broadcast after her co-workers announced that Ojeh was diagnosed with brain cancer and passed away.
The “Today” co-host shared a brief message via Instagram after her husband’s death was announced.
The journalist’s 45-year-old husband lost his battle to an “aggressive” brain cancer. The couple wed in 2007 and share three children.
