Kelsea Ballerini is dropping hints about what may have led to her latest breakup with Chase Stokes!
If you haven’t heard, the pair split for the third time. A source confirmed the news to Us Weekly on Friday, saying that “it happened just the other day.” And they may be finally over for good, too! The insider shared that while Chase “still isn’t ready to give up” on the relationship, the country music star is “done” with him. Us Weekly didn’t spill the tea on why she threw in the towel on their romance once and for all, but it appears Kelsea just did!

On Monday, fellow country singer Ashley Cooke teased her upcoming breakup song with lyrics about infidelity in a video posted to Instagram. She sings:
“Whiskey nights wandering eyes make messes / Hiding phones, ‘I don’t knows’ make questions / Towns talk and the truth starts spreading / Don’t you know crossing lines makes exes / Don’t deny I know you did it / It doesn’t matter how you spin it / Want me back after that? That is preeeetttyyy telling! It sounds like Chase possibly had a “wandering eye” while with Kelsea! And you know what? It is not the first time we’ve heard that, either! You may recall that during their second breakup, rumors started circulating that the Outer Banks star the Outer Banks star cheated on the Baggage artist again. Sources also previously claimed she “had a lot of trust issues” with Chase, so it’s all adding up! Perhaps there was some truth to the chatter…
