Carole Baskin is not a happy woman right now, and we totally understand why when it comes to the use of big cats in entertainment media!
The Tiger King star and longtime big cat rescue activist wasn’t exactly excited to see Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion team up for Wet A** P**sy, considering the use of big cats throughout the video!

The reality TV star and tiger lover spoke to TMZ about her reaction to the video itself, and she slammed the two female superstars, as well as Kylie Jenner and others who made cameos in the immediately-infamous music video.
For one, Carole said continued media clips like these of rich folks keeping tigers and leopards around as pets will make “every ignorant follower want to imitate by doing the same.” We can’t argue with that! Obviously, glamorizing having tigers around as pets was one of Baskin’s key issues with those allegedly more nefarious tiger handlers and zoo operators featured in the hit Netflix docs-series.
Aside from that, Baskin further notes that the cats themselves likely were not in the same room as Cardi and the others during the shoots, but rather photoshopped in afterwards using a green screen. That’s fine for the stars, but as Carole points out, using green screens and bright lights to shoot those big cats is unnatural and confusing, no matter what the purpose of the shot may be. Big cats are wild animals, of course, and it’s not exactly ideal to have them indoors doing weird things with cameras and lighting when they should be left outside in their own habitats to behave as they normally would!
It’s unclear exactly how producers of the WAP music video came across these particular big cats, but Carole suspects it to be Doc Antle or Mario Tabraue who came through and lent out the cats for production. Ugh. Not good, considering how much we’ve heard about these guys throughout the Tiger King run on the popular streaming service.
BTW, in case you haven’t seen it yet (how could you not?!), here’s the WAP music video in all its glory:
Yeahhhh… that’s quite a bit to take in there, isn’t it?
BTW, no comment from the music video’s director or anyone involved quite yet. Carole sure made her point though!
