Troye has previously revealed that his celebrity crush is taken, and he is in fact dating one of his friends. Who is it? The musician is crushing on chef Pierce Abernathy. You can check him out on Instagram.

In terms of his fav collaborators, he said that “Dance to This” Ariana Grande was “up there” and also celebrated his The Idol co-star Lily Rose Depp.

When the topic turned to Kelly, he opened up about the fake TikTok feud that he got involved in with the pop star after the release of her song “Mine.” If you don’t recall, there’s a part in the song where it sounds a bit like she’s singing “You’re Troye Sivan. Who the hell do you think you are.”

He called her out on it, prompting a response from the American Idol alum.

“I did know that [she wasn't saying his name]. I just thought it was funny,” Troye explained, making it even more abundantly clear that they didn’t have any actual drama.

Perhaps the most viral revelation from the interview has to do with Cher and her acting career. When asked if he considered himself to be a better actor than the “Believe” icon, Troye realized he’d never seen one of her movies.

“I don’t think I have actually seen a movie with Cher in it,” he said, wondering if she was in Mamma Mia. “I’ve seen, like, two movies, just in general,” he added.

Troye made headlines earlier this summer when opening up about his sexual preferences after releasing his song “Bloom.”
