‘Truly Friends’: How The Friends Cast Have ‘Leaned On Each Other’ All These Years

The cast of Friends have felt like a real group of pals to the entire world for 25 years now. The reason it worked so well? The chemistry was completely, totally real!

So says a new insider spilling to People magazine this week.

The source, who apparently has known Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer from their time on the show through the 15 years in between, talked about one of the most memorable social media moments of the year — the cast’s famous reunion photo!

Not only was it Jennifer’s first ever post on Instagram, it was also the first time all six had been seen in the same place in years. No wonder it broke a Guinness world record — not to mention breaking the platform itself for a few minutes!

The source says getting the TV stars’ schedules to align took “a lot of planning” on behalf of Courteney, who hosted the reunion dinner — but once they were together getting back into their rhythm was easy! The insider says:

“It wasn’t spontaneous. But they had the most fantastic dinner. There was a lot of laughing and hugs. You would think they see each other all the time.”

So what’s the secret to keeping their relationship so healthy, with no major rifts between any of them throughout the quarter century they’ve been a sextet?

The source says:

“They were truly friends. There was no behind-the-scenes drama. They all had the same goal.”

Awww! And even though they may not work together or live across the hall from one another, they really do care about one another — and they have proved it!

The insider says:

“They have really leaned on each other. They follow each other’s lives. The fact that they have been there for each other in happy and in sad times says a lot.”

The source added, they’ll be there for one another when the rain starts to pour, and they’ll be there for one another like they’ve been there before. Ha!

But when will they be there for us? On our small screens again??

While Jen told pal Howard Stern earlier this year there likely won’t be full-on revival like Full House or Will & Grace, she did tell Ellen:

“We would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is. So we’re just trying. We’re working on something.”

Since then a source tells People there may be something to that rumor of a reunion of some kind on HBO Max

“The details are very secretive. But they are aware how much the fans would love a reunion. Hopefully it will happen!”

Are YOU dying for a Friends reunion on TV??
