Um, what is happening at Nancy Guthrie’s home now?
Almost two weeks after her kidnapping, several reporters in Arizona gave an odd development in the case on Friday — pool cleaners showed up at her house! All while the property is supposed to be on lock down amid the investigation!
Troy Lynch from 12News shared a video of trucks from the local company Ambiance Pool Service & Supplies parked in front of the residence, and at least one deputy was escorting the workers. Take a look (below):

What is the deal? Are the cleaners helping with the investigation in some way? The answer is no. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told TMZ the Guthrie family asked the cleaners to come by to maintain the pool. Ken Kingan, the general manager of Ambiance Pool Service, also confirmed to Us Weekly that they were doing their jobs and “nothing more”:
“We were there to provide general pool service — nothing more, nothing less. We were escorted in and out to provide service to the pool. It’s an ongoing weekly pool service, once a week every week.”
Hmm. There are more important things to do than having the pool cleaned right now, like finding Savannah Guthrie‘s mom. Also, wouldn’t this potentially mess up any lingering evidence possibly left uncovered? Hey, we’re not forensic experts, and guess the ones on the case don’t see a problem with it. Still, it just seems a bit unnecessary amid an active investigation. But what do you think, Perezcious readers? Let us know.
The FBI has offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie, and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance. Authorities have encouraged anyone with information or tips to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI, 88-CRIME or tips.fbi.gov.
