Why Hasn’t John Mayer Been Canceled For Using The N-Word In That Infamous Playboy Interview?!

In a world that seems to love to cancel everybody, why hasn’t John Mayer been canceled yet?!

We know very well all the things Jessica Simpson revealed about him in her memoirOpen Book, and while a lot of it was salacious and sexual (remember her feelings about his infamous ‘sexual napalm’ comment?!), there is also some very disturbing racial stuff in there, too!

The big one that has us wondering now, as you can see (below), is how Simpson correctly remembers how Mayer used the N-word during his infamous 2010 Playboy interview about her and their sex life that ended up shocking her and ending their relationship. Reminiscing about it in her memoir, the superstar singer said of Mayer (below):

“The February interview in Playboy sealed it. He talked about me by name in the most degrading terms. You can look it up, because I had to be asked about those quotes in every interview I did for about two or three years. I scanned it more than I read it, horrified at whatever paragraph my eyes landed on.He called me ‘sexual napalm’ and said he wanted to snort me like a drug. If I had charged him $10,000 to sleep with me, he’d sell everything he had to keep doing it. He also used the n-word and said he wasn’t attracted to black women … he opened the spigot of his mouth and that’s what poured out.”

Yikes!!!

Here it is, clear as day on the pages of Simpson’s popular memoir:

Okay I am DISGUSTED! I mean I’ve been hearing rumors about this man for years but to pick up Jessica Simpson’s book (in a thrift store in Cleveland) and read that John Mayer frequently referred to black women using the n word and says he’s not attracted to them and he’s still running around with celebrities like @arianagrande who is a feminist is mind blowing!!!! This man has been dehumanizing women for years and other people are losing their jobs left and right (rightfully so) for their classless and racist behavior but he gets away with it? The biggest sociopaths are the charming ones and they get away with everything ! @perezhilton @theperezhilton @theshaderoom please let’s spread the word and make this man accountable for his actions! #canceljohnmayer

And sure enough, she remembers absolutely correctly!

We went back and found the old 2010 interview (HERE) and sure enough, here’s John Mayer saying his struggle is similar to that of a black person, while using the N-word:

“Someone asked me the other day, ‘What does it feel like now to have a hood pass?’ And by the way, it’s sort of a contradiction in terms, because if you really had a hood pass, you could call it a n***er pass. Why are you pulling a punch and calling it a hood pass if you really have a hood pass? But I said, ‘I can’t really have a hood pass. I’ve never walked into a restaurant, asked for a table and been told, ‘We’re full.’ … What is being black? It’s making the most of your life, not taking a single moment for granted. Taking something that’s seen as a struggle and making it work for you, or you’ll die inside. Not to say that my struggle is like the collective struggle of black America. But maybe my struggle is similar to one black dude’s.”

Ummmm…. excuse us?!

What the f**k is that about???

Thoughts, Perezcious readers?!
