Will.i.am is revealing details about a particularly difficult and disturbing flight from Brisbane to Sydney, and it sounds like a Qantas flight attendant on board allegedly really got out of control…
The Black Eyed Peas artist took to Twitter this weekend to reveal the details about an unfortunate incident involving the flight crew on the band’s Qantas flight down under, from Brisbane down the Gold Coast and south to Sydney. In a series of tweets, the musician named the flight attendant in question and noted that he’d been targeted by her “overly aggressive” ways, in addition to revealing a police presence waiting for him at the gate upon landing.

As you can see (below), the artist’s tweets told at least some of the story about what went down on the fateful flight this week in Australia:
I’m currently on a flight from Brisbane to Sydney.
I’m sorry to say me and my group have experienced they worse service due to a overly aggressive flight attendant…
I don’t want to believe she racist.
But she has clearly aimed all her frustrations only at the people of colour— will.i.am (@iamwill) November 16, 2019
This is how your greeted when you land from Brisbane to Sydney flying @qantas with a #RacistFlightattendant named Lorraine Marshall…She sent the police after me bacause I couldn’t hear the P.A while making beats on the plane wearing noise canceling headphones… pic.twitter.com/9xT7WqTUoO

Interestingly enough, it wasn’t just will.i.am who noted the alleged bad behavior by the flight attendant — other passengers came forward, both on social media and reportedly in interviews with police officers to share their concerns that the woman had apparently behaved inappropriately and unprofessionally. One alleged traveler who was also reportedly on the flight concurred with the BEP star (below):
I was on the same flight and couldn’t believe the appalling behaviour of the flight attendant. My apologies on behalf of Australia.

Crazy!
And all this because, as will.i.am himself claimed, he was wearing a pair of noise-canceling headphones and reportedly couldn’t hear the woman’s announcements over the loud speaker?! Seems a little bit excessive, doesn’t it???

According to People in their report about the incident Down Under, the band’s rep further released an official statement about the incident itself, as you can read here:
“Upon landing in Sydney the police had a chat with will.i.am at top of the jet bridge-they declined to pursue it further. He and the band will be flying on another airline as they wrap up their tour of Australia and New Zealand.”
And Qantas, the airline involved in the bizarre incident in the skies, has also released their own statement (below) — in which they deny that any part of the altercation was racially motivated:
“There was a misunderstanding on board, which seems to have been exacerbated by will.i.am wearing noise-cancelling headphones and not being able to hear instructions from crew. We completely reject the suggestion this had anything to do with race. We’ll be following up with will.i.am and wish him well for the rest of the tour.”
Well then.
What do U think about all this, Perezcious readers?! Seems like tensions are always high whenever it comes time to fly… but this is next level stuff, especially when the plane lands and the police get involved. WOW!
