Sister Wives Officially Leave Las Vegas; Will They Remain in Arizona?

It took a very long time.

It took several home sales.

And it took some extreme price-cutting on one residence in particular, but it has now been made official:

The entire Sister Wives family has moved out of Las Vegas.

This is somewhat of a technicality because, as fans of this long-running franchise know by now, the Browns have been residing in Flagstaff, Arizona for about a year.

But Christine actually still owned her home in Nevada this entire time, struggling to sell it until the price finally came very far down from the initial asking price.

According to Radar Online, which has obtained the official local records, Christine's Las Vegas  house when on sale on July 11, 2018 for $675,000.

It was dropped five times over the ensuing months, until it was finally sold on September 27 for $535,000.

We can't say for certain whether Christine made or lost money on this sale, but, at the very least, she did not make as much as she once hoped she would.

Christine Brown with Kody

This is the last home tying the Browns to Las Vegas, following their move down to Arizona in August of 2018.

The polygamous family placed Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn’s homes on the market right around this same time.

  • Janelle’s home was sold on April 30, 2019 for $575,000.
  • Meri sold her home on June 10, 2019 for $574,900.
  • Robyn also sold her home on June 10, 2019.

Why is this relevant?

Partly because Kody has talked openly in the past about having some financial problems after he plopped down $820,000 for property  in Arizona in June of 2018.

The goal at the time was to divide this piece of lane into four parcels, one for each Sister Wife, but construction is yet to begin... prompting many fans to wonder what the heck is going on.

Last month, however, a handful of moving trucks were spotted on this land, meaning the homes may soon be going up -- or shooting may soon be getting underway and these trucks were carrying television equipment.

Adding to the mystery surrounding this polarizing family?

Kody just bought a mansion for himself and Robyn.

We can't imagine this sits very well with his other better halves, specifically Meri Brown, who has openly been unhappy with her relationship status for  years now.

Heck, it's not hard to imagine her leaving the series at some point even.

Just two weeks ago, Meri wrote the following on Instagram:

Give. But don’t allow yourself to be used.

Love. But don’t allow your heart to be abused. Trust. But don’t be naive. Listen. But don’t lose your own voice.

The question, of course, is whether Meri will need to leave Arizona in order to maintain this voice.

Stay tuned, everyone.
