Late last week, Lamar Odom came out and made a plea.
He asked folks to stop asking about his past relationships and, instead, to realize that he's truly in love right now with Sabrina Parr.
But Khloe Kardashian apparently wasn't listening to her ex-husband...
... because the most interesting storyline on Keeping Up with the Kardashians week focused on Khloe's unfortunate history with the former first round NBA draft pick.
"I miss him all the time," Khloe told her sisters at one point. 'But not in a place I want to get back with him."
Why was this even a topic, all these years after the couple got divorced?
Because Odom came out with his memoir this summer, "Darkness to Light," and was on a media tour when the episode was filmed.
A bulk of this book talks about Lamar's past drug use and how it negatively affected his romance with Khloe, appearing on a Good Morning America segment and admitting he Khloe an apology.
"It’s true. It’s nice," Kardashian said in response to this admission.
But while Khloe was at peace with Odom on the Sunday night episode, she has serious beef with her mother.
In relation to Odom.
You see, in one section of Odom's autobiography, he hearkens back to an incident in which he ran into Khloe at a 6 a.m. SoulCycle class back in 2015. After the pair split, that is.
Was this a total and random coincident?
Nope: Lamar alleges in the book that Kris Jenner actually tipped him off to Khloe's whereabouts in order to create a viral paparazzi/celebrity gossip moment.
"I found out that mom's lying to me," Khloe told Kim Kardashian on the episode. "This SoulCycle thing is all a lie."
Kris was made aware of this excerpt in Lamar's book and quickly went into a panic.
"He's accused me of setting up the whole SoulCycle thing all over again," Kris said on air, adding:
"I'm trying to do damage control because I know when Khloe sees this, it's going to set her off again... Khloe blames me, thinking that I told Lamar where she was going to be. And that never happened."
Jenner's damage control entailed avoiding Khloe's calls, which prompted her and Scott Disick to concoct a tale that involved the latter pretending to be sick.
For whatever reason (perhaps because the writers scripted it that way), this illness prompted Kris to pay Disick a visit in order to give him some soup... which enabled Khloe to surprise her mother with a confrontation.
"I literally can't get you on the phone for three seconds and all of a sudden you just have a free day where you can just sit here and hand-feed Scott?" Khloe asked pointedly.
Jenner simply said she was afraid to discuss the whole SoulCycle matter with Khloe again, and continued to deny her alleged role in the incident.
"You know, if you would like to confess anything, this is our confessional," Khloe told her mom.
However, Kris swore she "didn't do it," and Khloe accepted her answer.
"Okay, we're still gonna deny 'til we die," she joked, to which her mother enthusiastically reiterated: "Deny 'til we die."
In the end, Khloe said Lamar actually called her earlier this year and suggested a meet-up.
She wasn't really down with it, but not because any hard feelings remain.
"I love him and I have so much respect for him and I only want beautiful things to come his way," Khloe said in conclusion.
"But you know, the past is the past for a reason sometimes."
