The last time we wrote about June Shannon, we reported that her family was hoping she could leave her awful boyfriend before it was too late.
Now, however, we're afraid to update this situation as follows:
It may be too late.
According to TMZ, sources close to the polarizing ex-WEtv personality say they now "fear the worst' for the reality star, citing how she has essentially gone totally radio silent and may have reached "the point of no return."
GULP, right?
"Mama June has been in and out of communication with her loved ones over the last few weeks ... bouncing from hotel to hotel," an insider tells TMZ, adding of the last time almost anyone saw her:
"She most recently made an appearance, though brief and angry, at an Alabama courthouse."
Shannon has been on a downward spiral of extreme proportions ever since her mid-March arrest for drug possession.
At the time, Shannon and her violent lover, Geno Doak, were arguing so loudly in an Alabama gas station parking lot that police were called to the scene.
Once they arrived, these cops discovered lots of drugs and plenty of drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle, all of which June claimed as her own.
The From Not to Hot star was therefore taken into custody, as was Doak... for domestic assault.
Shannon was then indicted on this drug charge in September amid many rumors that she's basically cut ties with her daughters.
The youngest, Alana, who was formerly known as Honey Boo Boo on her own reality series, is now living with her older sister because she is scared to be near her mother as long as June is having anything to do with Doak.
Pretty damning, right?
And yet also understandable, based on what we know about Doak.
"June will still text with her daughters here and there but mostly remains out of the picture," TMZ writes, with the insider, elaborating:
"The family is deeply concerned for her health and has offered to get her help many times."
This same reports alleged add June's family members often drive around to try and spot her SUV in hotel parking lots, simply to learn where she and Doak are actually staying.
Indeed, we previously wrote about the effed up mother selling nearly all her belongings just to make ends meet and keep being with Geno -- who seems like an enormous loser.
Back in May, June's sister, along with WEtv cameras, confronted Shannon in an attempt to get her to speak with a psychologist and to realize the error of her ways.
But June was having none of it.
The cable network has been the home of Shannon's makeover show -- From Not to Hot -- since 2017, while producers have scrambled to get her the professional help she needs following her crack cocaine arrest in March.
To no avail so far, though.
Shannon somehow earned this spin-off from her daughter's TLC reality series, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which was a spin-off itself from the famed pageant show Toddlers and Tiaras.
