They say that a picture can say a thousand words.
If this is truly the case, then it's not hard to imagine what the following picture says... something along the lines of:
LOOK! SEE! WE ALL GET ALONG AND WE'RE ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY!
P.S. YOU CAN SHUT UP ABOUT ALL THE SO-CALLED TENSION BETWEEN US, OKAY?!?
Amid ongoing chatter of in-fighting among the stars of TLC's Sister Wives, as well as talk of financial disaster for the Browns, Christine Brown went ahead and took Instagram followers by extreme surprise this week:
She shared a photo of herself, Kody Brown - and all three other Sister Wives!
Crazy, right?!?
When was the last time the public saw Christine, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown all out and about together!?
Spoiler: Never.
Christine also appeared to address both critics and supporters in her caption, writing alongside the first image posted above:
We feel blessed to be able to embrace our plural family in public.
So grateful for open-mindedness #pluralmarriage
#dinnerwithadults #blessed #family #openminded.
Color us hashtag surprised.
Many Sister Wives fans remarked in response that they were absolutely thrilled by the rare sighting of all the women and Kody.
Actually hanging out and seemingly in great spirits no less.
"So nice to see a photo of you all,” one person wrote.
Another Instagram fan of the TLC series replied: “Happy to see all 4 of the sister wife’s [sic] and Kody together in one photo."
Over the past several months, many questions have been raised about the status of Sister Wives as a show and in real life.
The relationship status of the wives and Kody is a topic of near-constant speculation among celebrity gossip publications.
At least some folks (probably a lot of folks, honestly) out there believe Meri is about to leave the program-family, for example.
However, Christine also shared a snapshot of all four women spending some recent time together with that sexy beast.
She wrote as the caption to this one:
“Look!! We have to wear appropriate clothing for dinner tonight!! So exciting for fine dining! #dinnerwithoutkids”
"Look!!" indeed.
Not long before Christine threw readers for a loop with these new pictures, long-time Sister Wives viewers had been wondering whether the family members would even remain in Arizona.
They've seemed very unhappy there since relocating last year from Las Vegas, sparking a lot of chatter about their demise as a family unit and a reality TV franchise to boot.
Where do things stand between these women and the husband they share? Unclear. It's easy to fake a smile for a photo.
But we'll soon learn a lot more about the polarizing romances at the heart of this reality show when it returns next year.
TLC has scheduled the long-awaited premiere for Sunday, January 5. It should be revealing, to say the least.
Will you be tuning in?!?
