Anna Duggar has something to be thankful for this holiday season.
And also something to be mournful over.
The former reality star made this clear in her latest Instagram post.
Just days after giving birth to her sixth child (at age 31!!!!!), Anna used her social media account to accomplish a pair of goals:
- She shared a new photo of daughter Maryella Hope.
- She paid tribute to Mary Duggar.
Mary, the mother of patriarch Jim Bob Duggar, died in June.
Various family members have mourned her in various ways in the days and weeks since, with Anna and husband Josh doing the same via the first name of their latest daughter.
Maryella, you guys.
Earlier this week, meanwhile, Anna posted photos from her family's second annual ugly Christmas sweater party.

Anna then shared a second photo, which we've included here:
Along with these snapshots, Duggar wrote a lengthy and heartfelt caption that explained her baby's name and how it connects to her late grandmother-in-law.
"We reflected on last year when Great-Grandma Mary Duggar was here with us and all the precious memories we made then," wrote Anna, adding:
"A great reminder that we don’t always know what a year may hold...so cherish every moment this CHRISTmas season!
"Little Maryella Hope made her debut (at 5 days old) for her first #familynight with the big family...and she seemed to enjoy it so much!"
Anna then concluded her latest post as follows:
Our kiddos had a blast getting dressed up and spending time together with everyone while enjoying good fellowship, food and fun!

In another image from the gathering here, you can see that Maryella is just one of a few brand new babies that have blessed the Duggar family of late.
Maryella Hope was born on November 26, 2019.
"On Thanksgiving eve our hearts are overflowing with joy and gratefulness for the arrival of our sixth child! Maryella Hope arrived this morning at 9:12am. 8 pounds and 2 ounces, 20 inches long,” Josh and Anna said in a statement at the time, adding:
"Anna had a fast labor and delivery without complications. We are so thankful for a beautiful, healthy baby girl!"
In semi-related news, Josh should be in jail.
