Last month, Angelina Pivarnick married Chris Larangeira at a lavish ceremony in - where else? - the great state of New Jersey.
Pivarnick invited her Jersey Shore co-stars to the festivities, and an MTV camera crew was on hand to document the occasion.
Unfortunately, it seems the knowledge that they were essentially filming an episode of Shore may have prompted some of Angelina's housemates to act out in a very unfortunate way.
For reasons that continue to baffle their fans, Nicole Polizzi, Jenni Farley, and Deena Cortese decided to brutally roast Angelina at her own wedding.
And this was no good-natured ribbing, folks.
Snooki and company really went in on their much-maligned castmate, referring to Angelina as "trash" and a "dump," while horrified guests gasped and booed.
So perhaps it's not surprising that Pivarnick is now demanding a do-over.
Pivarnick posted the above photo this week in order to celebrate a mini-milestone - and her caption got fans talking:
"Two weeks married @chris_e_piss_e my love ... We def need a total redo of this day for many reasons. I love u and your companionship. #mylove #redo," she wrote.
"Beautiful picture! I’m so sorry you need a redo! That sucks! Forget everybody and remember this moment in the pic!" one of her fans wrote in the comments section.
"So sorry you had to go through what you did on your precious day!!!!!!" added another.
"Oh Angelina ... I’m sure we know what you’re referring to for the redo but you’re married to the love of your life and that’s all that matters," a third chimed in.
Angelina has a history of being a bit melodramatic, and at first, the idea of a re-doing a wedding in response to an inapproproate toast may sound a bit over the top.
But if you listen to the speech, you may understand where she's coming from:
Yeah. It sounds bad, and it was bad, and the bride was clearly shaken up.
Family and friends who were in attendance have confirmed that Angelina was so upset she ran from the ceremony and didn't return for over an hour.
“The girls made a messed up speech. The girls were mean to her," one guest tells OK! magazine.
"The speeches they gave weren’t respectful. It was disrespectful."
We realize that part of the Shore cast's charm is that they do not mince words, but there still need to be some boundaries.
Sounds like to us that - for all her faults and mistakes over the years - Angelina was wronged and really deserves that re-do.
And we have some ideas about who should pay for it.
