Hey... remember Tiger King?!?

It was this wildly popular Netflix documentary that seemingly the entire country was watching early on during the Covid-19 pandemic?

Back when maybe we thought the quarantine wouldn't last too long and back before protests against police brutaliity broke out in every major city around the country?

Simpler, more innocent times, you know?

Now you remember, right?

Well, we have a pretty major update concerning its two most prominent cast members.

Carole Baskin will soon take control of the zoo formerly operated by Joseph Maldonado-Passage, better known as Joe Exotic, the main attraction of Tiger King... and Baskin's long-term nemesis.

The two clashed for several years over Exotic's alleged abuse of tigers and lions, along with Baskin's alleged exploitation of this abuse.

The G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, has been under the control of Jeff Lowe in recent years.

However, the tourist attraction is now being handed over to Baskin, the same woman whom Exotic was convicted of hiring a hitman to kill.

Baskin and her Big Cat Rescue corporation were granted this control by a judge who discovered that the zoo was fraudulently transferred to Maldonado-Passage's mother years ago.

Lowe -- who previously swindled Exotic out of ownership -- has 120 days to vacate the premises, including all of his animals currently residing there, per a copy of the ruling published by the Courthouse News Service.

Exotic is currently serving a 22-year sentence in jail for his murder for hire plot to kill Baskin.

He was also convicted on 17 federal charges of animal abuse during the 2019 case.

The feud between Baskin and Exotic was chronicled in Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.

During the series, the latter issued numerous allegations that Baskin was responsible for the disappearance of her first husband and that may have even fed his corpse to a tiger.

Director Eric Goode told Entertainment Weekly in March that the zoo under Lowe's leadership was still open, but "basically operating on fumes."

"No one is going now and there’s no source of income, and that's been going on for a long time," Goode told this outlet.

"It's not something that has just happened because of what's happening in the world today."

Lowe was not expecting Baskin to win the case outlined above -- but claims to have shifted his focus elsewhere.

“We anticipated Carol Baskin getting the title to the former park that once belonged to Joe Exotic, and we did not challenge her attempts to do so,” Lowe's legal representative told CNN.

“All of Jeff’s focus is on opening the new Tiger King Park in Thackerville, (Oklahoma), which should be opening in the next 120 days.”

Joe Exotic, for his part, shared a letter on his Twitter account on Monday from Fort Worth.

“#Helpfreejoe. This cannot go on,” he captioned the Tweet. 

In the letter, he apologized to fans for not being able to respond individually, claiming that “this prison is doing everything to keep me from talking.”

As for Baskin?

Joe shared his disappointment on Tuesday, June 2, about the fate of his famous property.

“Carole Baskin taking my zoo is a tragedy,” he wrote in a message.
