Meri Brown is not about sugarcoat anything.
But she's not about to bury her head in the sand, either.
The veteran Sister Wives star is not living her best romantic life at the moment. This is a statement that can't be denied.
For many months now, Meri has shared one cryptic meme or message after another on Instagram, making it evident that she's ready to love someone not named Kody Brown.
We don't even need to try and read between the lines of Meri's posts, either.
She straight up told a therapist earlier this year that her relationship with Kody is over.
And while we may never get an official break-up announcement from the couple -- who aren't legally married anyway at this point -- we do seem to be getting strong hints from Meri that she's prepared to move on.
Like, WAY on.
No, the romance hasn't worked out the way she once dreamed it might.
But take a look at the Michelle Obama quote Meri shared with followers over the weekend:
It's clear this reality star isn't about to let the disappointment scar her for life, you know?
“Instead of letting your hardships and failures discourage or exhaust you, let them inspire you. Let them make you even hungrier to succeed," wrote Meri, referencing the former First Lady in the process.
She then posted:
“Live your truth. Express your life. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing your music.
"Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering."
Pretty great stance to take, isn't it? Pretty inspiring way for Meri to see her world and what it's become, right?
Brown is single and open to mingling with others... but she's also taking her time these days to focus on herself.
She's been posting without her wedding ring on of late, while also snapping pictures of herself either at the gym, improving her appearance; or out in the woods, appreciating nature.
One thing Meri has most definitely NOT been sharing?
Photos of herself and Kody.
We truly cannot think of the last time Meri posed with her spiritual husband online.
We don't anticipate it happening any time, either.
On the most recent season of Sister Wives, Meri said their marriage has been “pretty rocky for a while” during the aforementioned therapy session.
Kody then admitted he “regretted” their relationship.
Fast forward to this past April and the twosome's 30th wedding anniversary... and no acknowledgment from either of the occasion.
There's really no mystery at this point in regard to the pair's status. It's non-existent.
We therefore applaud Meri for her philosophy here.
Sure, she's failed in one aspect of her life. It's been a hardship for sure.
But she has many years remaining ahead of her and she could let this experience get her down.
Or, you know what? She could use it to improve herself and get inspired to live every second to the fullest.
It sounds like Meri is choosing the latter path. Bravo!
