Is The Bachelorette about to drop another bombshell?
The ABC franchise has already replaced Clare Crawley with Tayshia Adams, while also giving viewers an early-season proposal... during which Dale Moss asked for Crawley's hand in marriage.
And Clare said yes.
Adams debuted in the lead role just this past Tuesday.
But some astute observers out there already think there's a major surprise in store that centers around Adams a man of her own.
A man from her past, that is.
A man to whom she was once married.
This all stems from a TikToker named @bigmoodbayley, who noticed that a new ABC preview of The Bachelorette includes a caption that indicated a voiceover by Tayshia's ex-husband, Josh Bourelle.
Perhaps we need to stop right here and offer up a refresher to some readers:
Adams revealed to Colton Underwood, back when she was a Bachelor suitor, that she married her first-ever boyfriend, Josh Bourelle.
They were together for six years and married for 18 months prior to the split.
Adams told Underwood that she expected only to be married just this one time... and fought hard to make the romance work... but at the end of the day/
"You can’t make someone want to be married."
On Dean Unglert's podcast, Help! I Suck at Dating, Tayshia said thay Josh was unfaithful and added:
"Before my divorce, I really wasn’t open with my parents about every single thing that was going on in my relationship slash me in general.
"But, because of my divorce, I opened up a lot more and they are now my closest friends in a way. The fact that they are still married does put a pressure on you, in a way."
Okay. All caught up? Back to the present...
In the aforementioned sneak peek, the voice purported to be Josh's says:
"It's only a matter of time before she realizes the truth."
And, well, that's all the information we have to go on.
As far as we know, none of The Bachelorette spoilers available online have indicated that Tayshia's ex-husband will make an appearance.
And we've heard nothing about some mysterious "truth" that he will show up to reveal.
Adams, meanwhile, recently spoke to E! News about how she came to replace Clare, recalling how producers told her the following:
Clare thinks that she's finding love here and it's working for her and if things keep moving as quickly as they do, she might have found her person.
And we still have many fantastic men that are still looking for love and open to it and if I possibly was, then I'd be the girl.
So there we have it.
Tayshia is on board. The contestants seem pretty psyched about it and now we're just left to wonder:
Will her former husband really make an appearance?!?
