Amber Portwood is headed to court yet again.
But this time is different from her many, many previous appearances in that she actually wants to be there.
According to a new report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup, Amber and her ex-fiance, Andrew Glennon, will once again square off in court next month.
The appearance amounts to a minor legal victory for Amber, as Andrew is being ordered to appear so that he can answer to claims that he is in contempt of court for repeatedly violating the terms of his custody agreement with Amber.
Andrew has had full custody of son James since July.
The decision was made shortly after Amber was arrested on domestic violence charges.
Glennon told police that Portwood struck him while he was holding James and ran after him with a machete.
He was later able to furnish a mountain of evidence in court, including audio tapes of Amber attacking and threatening to kill him.
Amber was able to avoid jail time, but the family court judge sided with Andrew and granted him full custody.
Portwood was able, however, to secure some clauses in the custody agreement that ensured she would be able to remain in James' life.
The judge ruled that Glennon would not be permitted to move back to California with James, and must instead remain in Indiana so that Amber could exercise her visitation rights.
He has continued to live near Portwood, but Amber is now alleging that he has violated the agreement in other ways.
She says Andrew did not allow her to see her son over Christmas, as planned.
Furthermore, she alleges that James suffered a dog bite while he was in California with his father over the holidays, and Glennon didn't tell her about it until several days later.
On top of all that, Amber alleges that Andrew posted photos of James on his Instagram page in clear violation of the terms the former couple reached in their custody agreement.
According to court documents, Andrew must now “show cause why he should not be found in contempt of this Court’s order for failing to comply with the Mediated Agreement entered on October 23, 2019…”
Glennon has admitted that “some people took liberties” with his Instagram page, and he has removed the offending photo of James.
It remains to be seen who he'll respond to the other allegations when he appears in court on February 11.
