Disappointing news for Vanderpump Rules fans…
ICYMI, it came out earlier this week that Ariana Madix had filmed with Tom Sandoval for Season 11 of the reality series — and reportedly didn’t hold back while “laying into him” during their scenes together! An insider told Entertainment Tonight at the time:
“Filming is underway for Vanderpump Rules and Tom and Ariana have filmed together. She has been laying into him while filming and doesn’t have time for any of his nonsense. She’s becoming more and more detached and isn’t affected by him as much.”
Now, we were shocked to learn the 38-year-old was even willing to film with her cheating ex-boyfriend at all! She had been pretty adamant that she would never share the screen with him or Raquel Leviss again. We expected Sandoval to only come up in conversation with the other ladies of VPR than for her to have a one-on-one conversation with him. Ariana, along with co-star Katie Maloney, did not even join Sandoval and the rest of their cast members on a trip to Lake Tahoe this month to support Lisa Vanderpump’s new restaurant.

The closest we’ve actually seen the exes filming together so far has been while they were both at SUR. But they remained far away from each other throughout the night. She seemingly was doing whatever she could to avoid him as much as possible, making this new report pretty jaw-dropping.
Bravo fans became excited to hear these exes would hash things out on camera again. However, we hate to break it to everyone, but don’t get your hopes up! Because TMZ now reports that Sandoval and Ariana actually have not filmed together since production for Season 11 began in late June. And WON’T! Damn…
Insiders connected to the series revealed to the outlet that the Something About Her owner is 100% still refusing to work with him. And unfortunately for viewers, Ariana doesn’t seem to be changing her mind about the matter anytime soon! The sources shared that she has only communicated with the 41-year-old through other people since filming for the Season 10 reunion ended months ago.
It sounds like she’s just not interested in talking to him ever again — even for the sake of VPR! Oof. Producers have their work cut out for them to change her mind! TMZ insiders noted that production wraps around the first week of September, so the clock is ticking for the Bravo team!
Even without a face-to-face confrontation with Ariana (for now), Sandoval has been going through it this season — he’s been having some tough conversations with her friends, especially Scheana Shay. We’ve seen the podcast host yelling at him outside of SUR, and more recently, Scheana revealed she had a “very uncomfortable” and emotional healing session with the cover band frontman. So it seems like it’s going to be an intense season whether viewers get another showdown with Ariana and Sandoval or not.
We’ll have to wait to see if things change in the next month. Perhaps, producers can convince Ariana to sit down with the TomTom owner by then? Or is that just wishful thinking? Either way, this news will disappoint fans who hoped to see these two have another big conversation about the cheating scandal now that some time has passed.
