Cardi B Denies Offset Cheating Drama Was Faked To Hype New Collab — See Who She Blames!

Cardi B is setting the record straight!

After the rapper’s recent drama with her hubby Offset, the pair announced a surprise collab called Jealousy. Now, the timing of this new song felt a bit odd to most considering it’s a track about their relationship going well, when as of late things haven’t seemed to be great.

Followers immediately started to speculate that maybe the drama between the spouses was made up completely to promote the single — but the 30-year-old Bodak Yellow musician is making her truth known! A screenshot of some since-deleted Instagram comments surfaced on Twitter through BIGBUNNYBARDI, where the Up rapper replied to a comment alleging the cheating scandal was just a “stunt”:

 “It wasn’t no STUNT.”

Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, then shifted the blame to none other than YouTube star Tasha K:

“Tasha K made some ish up and yall was laughing about it and happy ass hell about it. Now that we putting it in the music is a stunt … Naaa baby be mad at the one who started trolling wit it.”

In case you don’t remember, Tasha AKA Latasha Kebe, was sued by the rapper in 2019 over several dubious claims and salacious allegations published in videos on YouTube. Most controversially, those included the incorrect assertion that the performer had herpes. Cardi B won the suit and the vlogger was forced to take down the claims on the basis which the judge ruled to be defamatory.

The Twitter post also featured some lyrics from Summer Walker and Cardi’s track Bitter:

“And put that s**t in your music / And make money off it in your music / F**k these hoes!”

The WAP artist quote tweeted the fan’s post, and wrote in reply:

“Exactly !!!THEY C**CHIE WAS SO WET WHEN THE LIE WAS GOING AROUND NOW it’s a different narrative when we put it in the music ….OOOO IM POPPIN IT ON THIS SONG !!!!”

Of course, we can understand why the timing of this release would leave fans scratching their heads. We mean, the two were in turmoil just last month — with the I Like It musician going as far as saying she wishes she would’ve just cheated on her husband after he accused her of it! Then, almost exactly a month later, the song and music video drops! Wild. But Cardi is assuring everyone it was merely a coincidence! And hey, sometimes studios and artists DO plan things out welllllll in advance, so…
