Dolores Catania: My Ex is Dating Luis’ Ex! Sorry Teresa!

After Part 2 of this very messy The Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion, much of the buzz was about Teresa, Andy, and Joe.

These explosive moments almost — but not quite — distracted us all from a very weird revelation.

For ages, Dolores Catania dated David Principe.

Now, David is dating one of Luis Ruelas’ exes. Small world?

“It’s true,” Dolores confirmed to Andy Cohen at the Reunion special.

However, Teresa Giudice had one little bone to pick with the news.

She claimed that this woman, whose name was not revealed, is “not really” one of her fiance’s exes — not as far as she is concerned.

“It was just someone that he was talking to two months before,” Teresa said dismissively.

Well since “talking” is used all but synonymously with “dating” or at least to mean one of the early stages of dating, how is “ex” not the right label?

Dolores, at least, considers the woman to be an ex of Luis’ no matter what Teresa would like to believe.

“It was two months,” Dolores corrected Teresa.

“And then the day he met you, he never called her again!” she announced.

By all accounts, once Teresa and Luis got together, everything else went up in smoke. They were, and are, crazy about each other.

“So, he ghosted this woman for you?” Andy asked.

People sometimes exaggerate what ghosting means, but “talking” for months only to go radio silent without explanation would certainly qualify.

“Well, I don’t know. You have to ask him what he told her,” Teresa replied. “I don’t know.”

Catania’s erstwhile romances have played a significant role in her life.

Obviously, there’s Frank Catania.

But her relationship with David was lengthy, and absolutely impacted how she views life and love.

“Well, my relationship with Frank, I learned that there’s life after that,” Dolores characterized.

She and Frank share two adult children, 26-year-old Gabrielle and 23-year-old Frankie.

The two share a strong friendship, as evidenced both on and off screen.

Of course, decades ago, things were very different.

Dolores filed to divorce Frankie all of those years back after discovering that he had been cheating.

That is a familiar plight for some of her castmates, but not all of the Housewives handle that crisis in the same way.

These days, Dolores acknowledges that she wasted “too much time” on her relationship with David, as her friend and castmate warned her at the time.

“[Teresa] was on my back,” she recalled. “She’s like, ‘Its [been] five years!’”

Dolores split with David last year, and is now of course dating Paul Connell.

Paul is the CEO of Eco Electrical Services.

While there is some hope that he might make an appearance next season, Dolores feels that the show is sort of a cautionary tale that warns off significant others.

“Well, Andy, does anybody want to walk into this and get f–king destroyed?” she asked the Bravo host.

Dolores pointed out how filming for a reality show like theirs can be a “scary thing.”

Newcomer Luis and seasoned castmate Joe Gorga have both found themselves in unpleasant situations.

That said … Dolores suspects that Paul will sign on to the show anyway.

“Would he do it? Yes. He would do anything for me,” Dolores reported at the Reunion.

“When you’re with someone, you do these things,” she characterized.

She is less sure as to whether she’s up for marrying Paul one day, but admitted that she might feel differently one day.

Dolores Catania Calls Jennifer Aydin a F–king C–t in Obscene Reunion Takedown

Judging from the The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 12 Reunion trailer alone, things are beyond tense for this cast.

Accusations, screaming, and obscenities are normal. Threats to quit on the spot are not.

Dolores Catania took things up a notch as she put Jennifer Aydin on blast.

She bypassed the regular insults and went for the jugular, calling her the C-word with her whole chest.

The Season 12 RHONJ Reunion special does not begin airing until May 3, but the trailer gave us plenty to digest.

“I felt that Dolores had a hidden agenda,” Jennifer is shown telling Andy Cohen in the trailer.

Mind you, she’s seated right next to Dolores … which is incredibly awkward.

Things escalate quickly when we see Dolores remark “This f–king c–t,” dropping the C-word.

Normally, we’d love to say that maybe this is out of context, but there’s no question at whom Dolores’ words are aimed.

“Don’t call me a f–king c–t,” Jennifer screams back at her.

nj angry

“Here we go, here we go,” Melissa Gorga remarks in reaction to the conflict.

Obviously, we are denied the full context and aftermath of this.

The trailer’s job is to tease, not to give away everything that goes down on that messy stage.

However, we can certainly discuss the friction between these two.

For most of Season 12, Jennifer and Dolores seemed to be doing just fine in terms of friendship and getting along.

However, Jennifer characterized Dolores as being a “jerk” to her as the show was airing … a claim that changed everything.

“She claims to defend me — and she does in real life, she really does defend me,” Jennifer said during an interview in February.

“And I love her,” she added. “And I thought, ‘She loves me in real life.”

Jennifer then continued: “And sometimes is a jerk to me on the show.’”

“But now I’m starting to realize she doesn’t like me,” Jennifer shared.

“And,” she speculated, perhaps Dolores “just appeases me for the show.”

Jennifer expressed: “So I don’t know where we stand.”

Jennifer noted: “I just know some of the things I saw [this season] were really hurtful.”

She remained optimistic, at least back in February.

“Hopefully,” Jennifer said, “we can try and work it out at the reunion.”

Weeks later, Dolores offered a public reply … and was clearly less than pleased.

She declared that she does not “give a f–king motherf–k,” which is an amazing unit of measure.

“We haven’t [spoken],” she said in a March interview. “She’ll speak to me at the reunion.”

“Save it for the camera, fine,” Dolors expressed, as if directing her words at Jennifer personally.

“But have your peace with me and say it to my face before,” she continued.

Dolores then asked: “Like, what even is that?”

“I was upset by it,” Dolores admitted. “I’m like, ‘What are you talking about?'”

According to some, Jennifer may have just been repeating whatever observation Teresa had made.

“But I dont really give a f–king motherf–k,” Dolores emphasized, “so that’s really too bad, Jennifer.”

“I’ve stuck up for you every episode, even when you were not defendable,” Dolores recalled.

As for why Jennifer made those remarks, Dolores speculated: “If it’s not for attention, [why] do you have to wait to tell me at the reunion?”

Dolores then warned: “Know that I will be a different person to you now for the rest of your life.”

Dolores Catania Teases RHONJ Season 11: Teresa and Jackie Are Gonna DESTROY Each Other!

As we previously reported, the The Real Housewives of New Jersey trailer looks wild.

The new season begins very soon, on February 17.

To hype it up, Dolores Catania is spilling as much as she can about the new season.

She’s excited for the premiere … and especially to see a fight that she vows will “go down in history.”

Dolores spoke to Us Weekly about how Jackie Goldschneider and Teresa Giudice get into it almost immediately on the new season.

“This is a fight that’s going to go down in history,” she promised.

“And,” Dolores teased, “that’s not the only thing in this season. …”

“I’ve never been so excited in five years, about a premiere or a season,” Dolores revealed.

“We showed up, like, we got more than we bargained for,” she recalled.

She characterized that she and the rest of the cast encountered drama that was “more than we expected.”

The trailer makes it pretty clear that Teresa makes some sort of allegations about the Goldschneider marriage, though we don’t know exactly what she says about Jackie and Evan in context.

“I know Teresa very well and I know what happened,” Dolores noted.

“It was in the back of her mind,” she added. “It’s something that she had heard.”

“I believe she heard it,” Dolores vouched for Teresa.

“I don’t believe it’s true,” she clarified. “I believe she heard it.”

As for the details of what’s to come, she doesn’t say … we’ll just have to watch Season 11.

Other stars in Season 11 of ccourse include Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, and Jennifer Aydin.

In early 2020, production was of course postponed as the COVID-19 pandemic swept over North America.

But according to Dolores, viewers shouldn’t expect those very special circumstances from putting a damper on any of the drama.

“We couldn’t have these big, huge parties [or trips] like we’re used to,” Dolores acknowledged.

She continued by recognizing: “[and] a lot of the drama would happen at these places.”

Still, that couldn’t stop them from being messy.

“Because the COVID, we didn’t have a lot to work with,” Dolores noted.

“But it’s the best season that you’re going to see in a very, very long time,” she opined.

Dolores explained that it’s the best season in a long time “because each one of us has our own thing that we’re dealing with.”

Given how many Americans suddenly found themselves in similar circumstances for months during 2020, she expects that this may resonate with some viewers.

“That’s so relatable during the time,” Dolores suggested. “[It’s] trying times for everyone, right?”

(Yes and no — staying at home on lockdown is very different if you’re in an apartment or a mansion. And for essential workers, there was never a lockdown — they had to risk it all every day)

Dolores also teased fans that Season 11 will not be as “predictable” as some said that Season 10 was.

“The season almost killed all of us, but the world needs this entertainment right now,” she expressed.

Dolores then tantalized: “I’m telling you the producers at one point were, like, shooken [SIC] up.”
