David Eason wants everyone to know that he's gonna be okay.
He knows how concerned the public is over his state of mind in the wake of Jenelle Evans planning to file for divorce at some point in the near future.
The former Teen Mom star took followers by surprise in late October when she announced via Instagram that she was finally pulling the plug on her effed up marriage to the violent bigot.
Explained Evans in this unexpected message:
"I've mostly kept off social media the past few days because I've been focused on making some big life decisions. I've lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old.
"And alot (sic) of it hasn't been pretty. But its been my life."
“Like anyone else I want what's best for my kids and I want to be happy," Jenelle continued about three weeks ago, adding:
"With time away from Teen Mom, I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now.
“The kids and I have moved away from David.
"Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process."
In the days since confirming her break-up, Evans has remained mostly quiet.
She hasn't trashed David on social media or anything -- although she HAS filed a rather disturbing restraining order request that outlines 11 different instances of abuse at the hands of Eason.
Yes, 11.
A judge granted this retraining order against Eason and you'll understand why when you read the details provided by Jenelle below:
As for Eason, however?
At one point, he accused Jenelle of stealing the ex-couple's daughter, Ensley, and threatened to file a police report.
But he never followed through with this random threat and/or elaborated (and Ensley is doing just fine right now, under the care of Evans).
Now, he's shared a message on Instagram that we guess is meant to assure followers that he's found a way to cope in the middle of all his romantic strife.
And it centers around David's love of weapons.
After starting a custom metal and woodwork company in August, Eason has taken to Instagram to show off his new collection of knives.
“This is my meditation,” Eason told fans online this month, explaining in further, somewhat disturbing detail:
“It heals my soul to create things. I just can’t wait to make the next one, make it better and get that much more gratification.”
For the record, in case Evans is doubting her decision to divorce Eason, we hope she takes comfort in the fact that David considers the creation of knives to be his "meditation."
Just let that sink in for a few moments.
We also really hope someone steps in to help David's daughter, Maryssa, because she seems to be petrified of her dad these days.
For understandable reasons we'd say, right?
