It has now been more than a week since Jim Edmonds moved out after Meghan King Edmonds accused him of cheating ... again.
When he was recently photographed with a beautiful young woman, some assumed that he was out with the nanny.
On Sunday, Jim Edmonds took to Instagram to explain that no, he was absolutely not out and about with his nanny.
"I took my first steps outside in a while last night with my beautiful daughter Hayley," his caption begins.
"Trying to repair a broken situation," Jim explains, "and heart that should not be broken."
He took Hayley to a Post Malone concert, presumably because they are both aural masochists.
He made the post because he was all too aware of the rumors flying about his weekend outing.
"For all you people out there that think that I would be with our nanny," Jim says.
He accuses these pot-stirrers: "You need to get a life!"
Once again, this seems to be a case of public figures who are suddenly outraged to find that the public has an interest in their activities.
"I have a family and kids to worry about," Jim expresses.
Notably, he has a whole bunch of children (seven!!), not just the three with Meghan but four from a previous marriage.
"And that's my only worry right now," he writes.
Jim initially concluded his rant: "Everyone else, BYE!"
Since then, he took to Instagram to delete the lines about the nanny.
He then went back once again to add a tag to his caption: "#repair"
Jim's new conclusion, following that tag, reads: "Thank you to all my friends for you continued support."
If you happen to be a famous person in the middle of both a divorce and a scandal, you may want to consider your words before you post.
Hayley Edmonds herself commented under her dad's emotional Instagram post.
"Thanks for flying out here to take me!" she wrote in the comments.
"You are the best," she added. "I love you #strongertogether."
Carly, the infamous nanny in question, liked the post.
Jim Edmonds may be feeling heartbroken over the end of his marriage, but one person is not.
Last month, Heyley told Us Weekly that she could barely contain her enthusiasm for the breakup.
"I've been waiting for [the split]," she expressed. "For probably...three years?"
Anyone else who has seen a welcome divorce happen while they're in their early twenties can probably relate.
"I think it's impossible to be happy with someone so...I don't know if I would say, 'narcissistic,'" Hayley explained.
She continued: "But, she, like, creates her own problems and loves conflict and things like that."
"The selfishness is miserable for anyone to be around," Hayley said. "Let alone to be married to her."
"My whole family has grown closer," she added. "Because we have all had to stay silent in hopes to protect my dad and no one can do it anymore."
Well, there's clearly no love lost there. But Hayley is indirecty reminding fans of why Meghan should return to Real Housewives.
