Congraulations are in order for Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson.
Because they are first-time parents who welcomed a precious little girl in mid-November, not very long removed from a tragic and awful miscarriage?
Yes, of course.
But also because the popular couple just accomplished a rather impressive and admirable feat:
They shared the cutest baby photo in the history of the Internet!
Some may say this is a subjective honor and there's no way of knowing for certain just which baby photo actually is the cutest in the history of the Internet.
To these people, we say: Take a look at the picture below and then think again!
In this positively precious snapshot, daughter Bella is featured wearing a forest green onesie -- and showing off a surprised face in front of the family's Christmas tree.
Dad Josiah, the son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, reciprocates the expression.
It's truly glorious.
"Love these two," Lauren wrote as a basic caption to the image.
She wrote more, however, when it came to the two photos Lauren shared in honor of her baby's one-month birthday.
"It’s hard to believe Bella is already a month old!" wrote the reality star alongside the picture above, adding:
"She is the sweetest, happiest, and most content little baby. She brings us so much joy."
That makes us SO very happy to hear... because we know what Josiah and Lauren have been through over the past year or so.
“After a long and difficult labor, our girl arrived,” the husband and wife told Us Weekly after Bella enterted the world, expounding as follows:
When we finally got to see and hold our precious Bella Milagro all the pain instantly went away. We can’t believe she is ours - she is so perfect! She definitely has lived up to her name which means, ‘beautiful miracle.’
Today we are basking in God’s goodness!
As they should be, you know?
In October of 2018, Josiah and Lauren lost their first child, revealing this heartbreaking development to fans in a TLC video that went viral in February of this year.
“A couple months ago, we found out that we were expecting, but suddenly thereafter, we lost our baby,” Lauren said in this clip, with Josh adding:
"It really was a hard time for our family going through this right after we got married. And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes."
The pair said they told their story at the time because “nobody really talks about it. We just wanted to let y’all know that you’re not alone."
A beautiful sentiment and a very sad story -- but such a happy ending overall.
