Robyn Brown may not come out and say it.
She may be too mature and simply too kind to do so.
But we know what this Sister Wives star must be thinking right now when it comes to her husband and a recent public fight in which they engaged.
And that thought must be this: I TOLD YOU SO, DUDE!
Last month, on one Sister Wives episode in particular, Robyn and Kody Brown got into a heated exchange over the latter's desire to purchase a new home for the couple in Arizona.
Robyn thought this was an irresponsible idea because the Browns already owned a lot of property in Flagstaff and she believed that adding another house would simply add to everyone's financial woes.
And now? All these months after that episode was filmed?
According to the Sun, Kody and Robyn applied for a home equity line of credit in the amount of $150,000 on March 20, 2020, based on Arizona court documents obtained by the newspaper.
They didn't merely apply, either.
In their legal document, this twosome emphasizes an urgency to the deal, as the court papers read: “Time is of the essence in the performance of this Deed of Trust."
The money is even of such necessity that the couple agreed in the official county documents to "waive" their rights to Arizona’s Homestead Exemption.
(The Homestead Exemption, for the record, would protect $150,000 of home equity should Kody and Robyn file for bankruptcy in the state, as this is catalogued as their "primary residence.")
Kody and Robyn's request was approved on March 31, 2020.
The country, of course, is going through historic economic turmoil at the moment due to the Coronavirus outbreak and related shelter-at-home orders.
However, there has been talk of Kody and company struggling with their finances for two years now, ever since they moved from Las Vegas to Arizona and subsequently bought or rented numerous homes there.
Robyn and Kody purchased their rustic five-bedroom, four-bathroom, 4,395 square foot home set on two-acres in Flagstaff back in August 2019.
At the time, they plunked $225,000 down towards the $890,000 purchase price.
As Sister Wives viewers likely recall, Robyn was against buying the home because she felt it was a “betrayal” to Kody’s three other wives, Meri, Janelle and Christine and their kids.
Robyn -- who shares five children with Kody -- also worried that buying instead of renting would stall the family from building on four-acre property they purchased in June 2018 for $820,000 called Coyote Pass, which was split into four parcels of land.
How bad did the fighting between Kody and Robyn get over this issue?
Kody actualy threatened to dissolve his partnership with his his only legal wife at one point, later confessing he “bullied” her into buying the home.
He's a real keeper, isn't it?
On the January 2020 premiere of Sister Wives, Kody’s third wife, Christine, told the cameras, “financially, we’re drowning."
Kody himself even added: “Basically we’re paying four, no five mortgages with the Coyote Pass property."
At this point, construction on Coyote Pass hasn't even started yet and Kody is clearly desperate for an infusion of cash.
So we'll go ahead and say it for Robyn:
She told you so, dude.
