Over the past few weeks on Sister Wives, we've sat back and watched as Meri, Christine, Robyn and Janelle have all expressed displeasure with Kody Brown.
None of them really want to live under the same roof in the same house in Flagstaff, Arizona.
But while the future of the wives on Sister Wives remains up in the air a bit at the moment, the future of Kody's kids appears to be far more clear:
You won't be seeing them on your television set any time soon.
“My older children aren’t always interested in being part of the show,” Kody revealed on the “Reality Life with Kate Casey” podcast a few days ago, adding during the appearance:
“And they don’t always have a story to follow. They’re trying to live professional lives. And sometimes it’s a hard balance to make.”
Kody has 15 children overall, spread across his four better halves.
Some of these kids remain under their parents' supervision and are stuck in Flagstaff with their mom and dad, unsure exactly where they'll be living several months from now as everyone argues about the whole polygamous palace idea.
But the older kids?
They're choosing to NOT be included in this narrative.
On the aforementioned podcast, the host specifically asked the Kody where his son-in-law, Tony Padron, has been... presumably because he hasn’t appeared on the series this season.
Tony's wedding to Kody and Christine Brown‘s daughter, Mykelti Brown, was a major storyline just a season or two back, making this absence pretty noticeable to long-time viewers.
What the heck is going on here?!?
Tony works in a bank, something some hardcore fans may have been aware of.
But also something that Kody says makes it difficult for him to commit to Sister Wives.
“I mean, when you’re on a reality TV show, and you’re trying to work at a bank it becomes extremely awkward,” the TV personality explained, adding:
“They try to distance themselves so they can have their own private lives.”
What about Logan, who also seems to have just vanished from new episodes?
His fiancée, Michelle Petty, is working on her Criminal Justice M.A., while Logan’s Twitter account states he is trying to earn his M.B.A.
So perhaps he's simply busy doing his own thing, building his own life, and there's nothing to analyze or contemplate here.
That's very likely, in fact.
But with more and more chatter over how Kody is selfish and may even be angling for a fifth wife and doesn't really seem to care much about some of his current Sister Wives...
... it's also plausible that these kids are sick of their father.
Would anyone blame Tony or Logan if they simply don't want to be associated with Kody these days?
