Love Is Blind Season 2 Finale: Who Got Married? Who Bailed at the Last Minute?

We think it's safe to say that Love Is Blind is the most bonkers dating show on television these days.

On The Bachelor, a couple might get engaged at the end of the season, which is nice.

But on LiB, several couples who just met a few weeks ago are forced to decide if they want to get freakin' married, which is absolutely insane!

What's really crazy about the "experiment" that brought these couples together is its remarkably high success rate.

Shaina and Kyle went their separate ways weeks ago, and that was almost certainly for the best.

But five couples made it to the altar on Friday's season finale, and while most of them decided not to become man and wife, two couples said "I do," which is pretty impressive ...

... especially when you consider that they got engaged before they even laid eyes on each other!

Starting us off on the finale were Danielle and Nick.

Here we had a couple with only one major issue -- but it was a doozy.

Basically, Danielle has intense anger and issues that she needs to work out in therapy before she even adopts another cat, much less gets married.

Nick has been immensely patient with her but the fact is, he could say "good morning" and she would find some reason to pick a fight before he had his first sip of coffee.

Not a healthy situation!

But for reasons we'll never fully understand, Nick and Danielle tied the knot on Friday's finale.

"I do. I have no question whatsoever that you are the person I'm supposed to be with," Nick said after a moment's hesitation.

"I'm glad that I found you, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life being better together."

Danielle insists that she's the victim of a bad edit, so maybe Nick has seen a side of her that we haven't.

"It all worked out the way it was supposed to," he told the cameras after the ceremony. "That means that I'm a married man and we have a whole life of 50-some-odd years together — and I can't wait."

"This is everything I could have ever wanted. So, love is blind, obviously," Danielle added.

We'd be lying if we said we're optimistic -- but we wish these two all the best!

Deepti and Shake

Next up we have Deepti and Shake who were also faced with one solitary issue that continually reared its ugly head:

Basically, Shake loved "Deeps," but he just wasn't physically attracted to her.

Deepti seemed confident that they could clear that hurdle eventually -- which is why it was such a surprise when she was the one to bail during their ceremony!

Deepti and Shake

"I hope you know how much you mean to me and the impact you've made on my life, but no, I cannot marry you," she said. "I deserve somebody who knows for sure. So I'm choosing myself and I'm going to say no."

Deepti explained to the cameras that Shake is "not the one" for her, adding, "If he was, he'd make me feel like I was the one and he never did that."

Shake seemed to be upset, but he concluded by saying that he hopes he and Deeps can be friends someday.

It couldn't have been an easy decision, but in the end, it was probably the right call.

Natalie and Shayne

That brings us to a couple who had no trouble connecting on a physical level -- but who seemed to struggle with just about everything else.

Natalie and Shayne got into a nasty fight the night before the wedding, during which he called her the "worst thing" that's happened to him and said he "hated" her.

That exchange seemed to be at the forefront of Natalie's mind when she decided not to go through with the vows.

Natalie and Shayne

"I'm so glad that we shared this journey together. I think we've grown a lot, as two people who have fallen in love. I know I've grown a lot because of you, but I don't," she said.

"I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry, Shayne. I still love you and you're still my best friend, but like, we have really big issues to sort through."

Not surprisingly, Shayne's comments from the night before the wedding were a major factor in Natalie's decision.

"Before our fight, I was 100 percent sure I was going to marry him today," Natalie later said in a confessional.

"Like, today would have looked so different, but saying that you hate someone, telling someone you're the worst thing that's ever happened to them, those [words] cannot be unintentionally said.'

She added, "I thought today, truly, was going to be the happiest day of my life."

Natalie left the door open for a possible reconciliation, but not surprisingly, Shayne wasn't exactly a beacon of emotional maturity.

"Still love her. Still think she's a good person. But you think I'm actually going to f--king come back to you after that kind of stuff again?" he asked the cameras.

Yeah, that split is probably for the best -- maybe the villain Shaina is still available to help Shayne recover!

Next up is Mallory and Salvador, a couple who always seemed to respect each other, but whose feelings seemed to come up just short of full-blown romantic love.

Mallory appeared to have the biggest doubts, but it was Salvador who pulled out at the last second, telling his bride-to-be, "I feel like I just need more time."

In a classy move, Sal proceeded to address Mallory's assembled loved ones.

"I know this was hard for all of you too," he said.

"I can only give her my most truest self and my most honest choice. That's why I said no today. I just thank you for being here for us today."

Mallory said she wasn't "100 percent sure" that she would have said "I do," but she admitted that she was a little bummed when Sal bailed.

Sal concluded by stating rather vaguely that he hopes they'll be able to "remain in each other's lives."

Iyanna and Jarrette

We'll wrap things up on a positive note with Iyanna and Jarrette, fan favorites who tied the knot in memorable fashion, with Jarrette's father officiating the ceremony.

"I just married the woman of my dreams. I'm f---king on top of the world right now — cloud nine," Jarrette told the cameras.

"I met my damn wife through a wall. Not too many people can say that, not too many understand that, but it happened."

Iyanna had some doubts, prompted mainly by Jarrette's fondness for late-night partying, but in the end both parties seemed confident.

"We have so much more to do, but, oh, my God, this is a great start," she concluded.

We wish these two all the best.

Talk about a story to tell the grandkids!
