Emily Ratajkowski and Harry Styles’ shocking makeout session in Tokyo sure came as a surprise to the world, but apparently, they’d been building up to this moment for several weeks!
In a resurfaced podcast episode of Going Mental With Eileen Kelly, which originally dropped on March 9, the model can be heard gushing about her new partner — and she very well might have been talking about the One Direction alum!!

During the conversation, the brunette beauty discussed her ever-changing love life, which has seen her causally dating for the last several months. Interestingly, her perspective on love seems to be evolving since she revealed she was finally dating someone she was really into, the 31-year-old gushed:
“I just started dating someone that I think I like, so that is different.”
This is a very new feeling for the Gone Girl alum since she typically falls in and out of love very fast, she noted:
“But if you had been talking to me four weeks ago, absolutely. I would be seeing someone and then suddenly the way he would walk would be like, ugh.”
LOLz!
She sounds like a harsh critic these days! But judging from her comments, it sure sounds like she’s been seeing the musician for about two months now, and it also seems plausible based on their dating histories. Maybe that’s why they were so unbothered to go public with their romance?? They’ve been in each other’s lives for quite some time!
By the way, EmRata alluded to her relationship with Harry (or whoever this mystery guy is) even more. Elsewhere in the convo, she said she is looking for a partner who is “independent” because she already has a “full life.” She explained:
“I’m hoping that dating someone that has more of their own life will prevent the issues I had before.”
The As It Was crooner has been touring the world for months on end now. We’d say he’s got a pretty packed life of his own. Exactly what she’s looking for!

Besides being a possible reference to the singer, the last comment also serves as a dig at her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, with whom she shares a 2-year-old son, Sylvester. They called it quits last year and the High Low podcast host has been on a roll dating several Hollywood hotties ever since, including Pete Davidson and most recently Eric Andre (though they broke up around the time he posted a spicy Valentine’s Day pic of them).
FWIW, if Emily linked up with Harry immediately after ending things with the comedian, they would’ve reached their four-week mark around March 9, when the podcast was released. Add in a couple more weeks until they were spotted kissing and that means they’ve been dating for at least two months. The timeline seems to track… That said, there’s always the chance this podcast was recorded way before it was released, in which case, who knows which one of her exes she was talking about?!
If all of this is true, we bet the iCarly alum has a LOT more explaining to do to make things right with her friend and the Grammy winner’s ex Olivia Wilde! Per a Page Six source, the mother of one is busy “begging [Olivia] for forgiveness” after betraying her with the steamy kiss. She better start getting her story straight!
