For the record, the video 2 Girls, 1 Cup is totally disgusting.
Really, you should NOT Google this footage. We mean it.
It's worth noting, on a semi-related note however, that Sunday night's episode of Sister Wives was titled Four Wives, One House?
And many of the women thought what Kody Brown proposed at the top of the installment was also very gross.
Strained introductory segue aside, here's what transpired:
With the family gathered together for Christmas Eve, Kody unveiled his plans, hopes and dreams for mega-mansion in Flagstaff, Arizona.
He had blueprints and everything and did his best to convince Janelle, Meri, Robyn and Christine that they'd all be happier than ever while living under one roof in this polygamous palace.
“I’ve been prepping this for months now,” Kody said ahead of the presentation to his loved ones. “I’m a little nervous.”
To be clear, Kody wasn't anxious due to any of his own doubts. He firmly believed this was the best course of action.
“I love this idea, and yet I’m afraid because I’m worried about their prejudices toward it," he explained.
Perhaps for good reason.
On a 2019 Sister Wives episode, Kody talked about the stress and annoyance of living separately from all his Sister Wives in Las Vegas, despite all the houses being close together on a cul-de-sac.
"I just carried everything from house to house to house," he said back then, talking about how it was a drain to go from home to home as the husband of four people.
In his ideal future, therefore, Kody could collectively see his wives and 18 children all in one place.
“Is the idea of living in one house really special to me? Is it worth some sacrifices to me? Yeah, it is,” he said on air Sunday.
However, none of his better halves really felt the same way... which shouldn't have come as a shock to Kody.
“I would happily live next door to [my sister wives] for the rest of my life. Absolutely. With them? No, no. Have you met them?" Christine said nearly a year ago.
In 2018, the family was looking forward to moving from Las Vegas to Arizona, mostly for the change of scenery.
“It’s green, there’s four seasons,” Christine said at the time, while Robyn added: “It’s a little bit smaller, quite a bit smaller than Las Vegas."
They were unaware of Kody's grand plan to build a single giant home, though.
And they can at least take comfort in present day that construction on the mansion isn't remotely close to being finished; they'll all be living apart for the foreseeable future, that's for certain.
Will an eventual co-habitation situation doom the Browns at some point, however? Will this plan backfire on Kody?
We have many more Sister Wives episodes to watch in order to see what happens ... but even Meri sounds like she isn't going anywhere any time soon.
She recently said she's a Sister Wife for life. SMH.
